Smudginess and Slanted Tables

I prefer slanted tables myself because it makes it easier to work on the 
top row of drawings on an 11X17 page. And yes, it's better on the back. I 
used to really stretch my back or stand a bit so I could work on the upper 
part of the page.

I've literally gotten rid of smudginess on my work when I started to use 
F  pencils. It's very light, but I don't pencil for someone else to ink 
anyway.
