Special Features: Paste Without Formatting

  1. Table of Contents
  2. Special Features
  3. Check Spelling

When you paste text that you’ve copied from your word processor or from another web page, Netscape tries to keep the formatting intact. Often, you don’t want it to do that. You want to handle the formatting yourself, instead of keeping whatever formatting was in the other document. You can choose “Paste Without Formatting” instead of “Paste” to paste only the text without any of its bold, emphasis, or other styles.
