Where are you located?
Black Wave Tattoo is located in Los Angeles, just south of Hollywood, on La Brea Ave., 1 1/2 blocks south of Beverly Blvd.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Saturday noon until 10:00 PM, Sunday noon until 7:00 PM.
Do I need an appointment?
If an artist is available, we do take walk-ins, but it is best to have an appointment. If you talk to an artist ahead of time, he/she can set aside enough time for consultation, design, and application of your tattoo.
Are Black Wave artists ever in New York/Honolulu/Bora-Bora?
Artists sometimes attends conventions and gives lectures. Check the News page for upcoming events.
How can I get Leo flash?

Do you do custom work?
Yes. We specialize in Tribal but we can do anything you want.
Does it hurt?
It is similar to an abrasion or a cat scratch.
Is it safe?
Yes. All needles are disposable and all equipment is sterilized between each use.
How long does it take to heal?
2 to 4 weeks.

How much does it cost?
$100 per hour, $50 minimum charge.
Do you do piercings?
No.
Can you take a check from my overdrawn account that I closed 2 years ago?
No. We accept cash and major credit cards.
Will you e-mail me a design so that I can pay someone else to tattoo it on me?
No. If you want a design from a Black Wave artist, then come to Black Wave. Also keep an eye on the News page for information on upcoming conventions that we will be attending.
