I was very excited. I like Superman for his strength and his X-Ray eyes but I like watching X-Men better on television," Samuel said. Carr said he had been ready to pay nearly $40,000 for Action Comic Number One, which auctioneers Christie's billed as ``arguably the most important comic book ever to be published." Carr already has first editions of the Spiderman and Batman comics. Samuel will not be allowed to leaf through his 1938 comic book before bedtime, however. ``It's going straight into a bank vault.
