You should read parts 1-4 and then read part 5. NOTE:The inside cover of some of these books indicate that you need to read Satan's Six 1-4 in order to read this crossover. You don't need to. SECTION 2.4 Valient Crossover Titles Unity Unity was a company wide crossover for Valient in 1992. It crossed over into each Valient title twice and had a special beginning book (Unity 0) and a special ending book (Unity 1). Unity 1 Unity 0 Books from May 1992 2 Eternal Warrior 1 3 Archer & Armstrong 1 4 Magnus Robot Fighter 15 5 X-O Manowar 7 6 Shadowman 4 7 Rai 6 8 Harbinger 8 9 Solar Man of the Atom 12 Books from June 1992 10 Eternal Warrior 2 11 Archer & Armstrong 2 12 Magnus Robot Fighter 16 13 X-O Manowar 8 14 Shadowman 5 15 Rai 7 16 Harbinger 9 17 Solar Man of the Atom 13 18 Unity 1 SECTION 2.5 Malibu Crossovers Genesis #0 Genesis Chapter 1 : Ex-Mutant #11 Genesis Chapter 2 : Dinosaurs for Hire #8 Genesis Chapter 3 : Protectors #13 Genesis Chapter 4 : Ex-Mutant #12 Genesis Chapter 5 : Dinosaurs for Hire #9 Genesis Chapter 6 : Protectors #14 Crossovers : Ferret #4,#5 ; Gravestone #3,#4 ; Man of War #6,#7 Actually the vital books in the series are Ex-Mutants and Protectors. The Dinos for Hire issue really doesn't do anything but bring the Dinosaurs into contact with Gravestone in Graveworld. Gravestone and Ferret issues have haven't really had anything to do with Genesis yet. Genesis 0 is advertised as a anthology and basically intros WidowMaker. I think the Ex-Mutants are being transformed into heroes also. Advance has Ex-Mutants 14 advertised as a showdown between Dillon and Gravestone for leadership of the team. I'm not sure whether there was any order listed for these (on a promo card or something). I've tried to determine the order from the "Continued in ..." lines at the end of each issue. In all cases below, except those with other notations, says at the end "Continued in . For example, Green Lantern Annual #1 says "Continued in Detective Annual #5. Three of the entries merely say "The End", but at the least must occur before Adventures of Superman Annual #4. Flash Annual #5 must occur before Justice League Europe Annual #3 due to the events in those books, but I haven't tried to analyse the contents in any other issue to determine order (that one just stood out as obvious). Eclipso: The Darkness Within #1 and Superman: Man of Steel Annual #1 show some of the same events from different points of view. Adventures of Superman Annual #4 and Eclipso: The Darkness Within #2 are tightly coupled in showing the climax of the series. 1. Eclipso:The Darkness Within #1 2. Superman: Man of Steel Annual #1 3. Green Lantern Annual #1 4. Detective Annual #5 (continues in 5 and 10) 5. Superman Annual #4 (continues in 6, 8, and 19) 6. Justice League America Annual #6 7. Demon Annual #1 ("The End") 8. New Titans 92 9. Team Titans 3 The variations of Team Titans #1 vary only in the cover. The book content is the same, so it is not necessary to buy all variations to follow the crossover. In fact, each issue has an origin story for the character featured on the cover. The origin story is as long as a normal comic. In addition to the origin, they each have the same story as a bonus. It probably is that that you don't need all the variations to follow the crossover, however, since you don't need the origin stories. The list is probabally not complete and the issues are out of order) Alpha Flight 79,80 Amazing Spiderman 326,327,328 (329 concludes cosmic Spider-Man story) Avengers 311,312,313 Avengers Spotlight 26,27,28,(29 epilogue) Avengers West Coast 53,54,55 Captain America 365,366,367 Cloak and Dagger 8 (no cross-over triangle, but cover does say Prelude to Vengence, and does have the villains), 9 Damage Control Volume 2 numbers 1,2,3,4 Daredevil 275,276 Dr. Strange (3rd series) 11,12,13 Fantastic Four 334,335,336 Incredible Hulk 363,364 Iron Man 250 (labeled as one, and has Dr. Doom, but it is a continuation from the previous issue, and doesn't mention the Acts of Vengence), 251,252 Moon Knight 8-10 New Mutants 84-86 Power Pack 53 Punisher 28, 29 Punisher War Journal 12, (13 not labeled as a cross-over, but continues the story from the previous issue) Quasar 5-6,(7 not labeled as a cross-over, but does have cosmic Spider-Man; does not contain Acts of Vengence story, though) Spectacular Spider-Man 158-160 Thor 411-412,(413 not labeled as a cross-over, and has Thor fighting one of his own villains, but does reveal Loki as the mastermind behind the Acts of Vengence) Web of Spiderman 59,60,61 What The? (not an official part of the crossover - it is a parody of it) X-Factor 50 (came out after Acts of Vengence, shows Loki trying to recruit Apocalypse for his plan, Marvel timeline placement may therefore be before Acts of Vengence) X-men 256,257,258 note: (1) I didn't try to place these in order (2) I do know the order of cosmic Spider-Man was a rotation in the order: Amazing Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, Web of Spider-Man. Also, since Quasar 7 has cosmic Spider-Man and is not an Acts of Vengence story, it must take place between Web of Spider-Man 61 and Amazing Spider-Man 329. (3) I don't know for sure if this order is right, but I think the rotation of the core Avengers titles was: Avengers Spotloght, Avengers, Avengers West Coast. I know it started in Avengers Spotlight, and I think that it ended in Avengers West Coast. Also, Thor 413 must take place right before the final chapter, since it ends with him going to the Avengers to inform them of Loki's involvement. (4) There is a parody of Acts of Vengence in What The? This is an Acts of Vengeance chronology compiled by Tim Stroup. Acts of Vengeance Crossover - Mid November 1989 to Febuary 1990 By Timothy L. Don't know if this was given any title, and it was not mentioned on the cover. There was a murder mystery story that started in Nova 12 and ended in Amazing Spider-Man 171 with a villain called Photon. There was no title for this on the cover. cmc 1) One thing I dislike about your list is that you list some 'sagas' and story lines as crossovers when they arn't really. I mean, if a Spiderman adventure continues throughout the Spiderman titles, it's not a crossover, it's continuity. Same for the four Superman titles. If you wanted to follow your system, about every month's run of Superman would be another crossover because items intermingle so much. Here is a list of non-crossovers you have listed: Cosmic Spiderman Saga Maximum Carnage Blackout Blaze/Satanus War Breakdowns (since GL #18 wasn't an official part.) Crisis at Hand (Geeze, a two-part story ain't a crossover...) Dark Knight over Metropolis Day of the Krypton Man About all of your JSA/JLA crossovers Knightfall Lex Luthor: Hostile Takeover (I'm suprised you didn't include the alternate storyline which coincided with this about Superman exiling himself in space.) Panic in the Sky Red Glass Trilogy (give me a break) Soul Search Teasdale Imperative Time and Time Again Supergirl Saga Kraven's Last Hunt Road to Vengeance Suidice Run Vibranium Vendetta
