From: [j r d] at [frame.com] (James Drew) Newsgroups: rec.arts.comics.info Subject: Bitchy Bitch, the play [Seattle, WA] Date: 8 Mar 1995 22:52:31 -0800 As promised, I am reposting the info for the upcoming presentations of a stage version of Roberta Gregory's "Bitchy Bitch" (as seen in the _Naughty_Bits_ comic from Fantagraphics). "Bitchy Bitch" will be presented four times during the Seattle Fringe Festival in March: March 9 (Thursday) 10:00 March 12 (Sunday) 10:00 March 13 (Monday) 8:00 March 18 (Saturday) 5:30 The play will be presented at the New City Theatre (1632 11th Avenue), in Seattle, Washington. Tickets are available at the Broadway Market (410 Broadway Avenue E, corner of Republican) for $8, or by phone at (206) 325-5446 for $10. Last thing I knew, Maggie Bloodstone was playing the lead and both Roberta Gregory and Donna Barr were cast in small roles; Barr is supposed to be designing the costumes, too. (Me, I'll be attending the final show and will be in Seattle for the weekend, so if anyone wants to get together, do a comix/cs lunch or dinner, or whatever, be sure to contact me.) ------------------------------ | "My name's Ella, and I'll be your waitress Jim Drew | today," she said.
