Duh, 'cuz I wrote it. CLIP AND SAVE! ------------------- DC: === Final Night is the fall's weekly DC Universe crossover. Main mini series is by K. Kesel & Immonen, and it involves the impending end of the world as the Sun is blotted out by an "unstoppable force that feeds off the stars themselves." Add to this the mysterious "Ferro Lad" appearing in Adventures of Superman #540 (Kesel/Ordway & Dodson) who goes on a "suicide mission" with some kind of bomb in LSH #86 (Peyer/McCraw & Moder) and you've got the Sun-Eater story all over again. Crosses over into almost everything, and probably leads into JLA #1 in October. Between issues #3 and #4 of Final Night is Parallax: Emerald Night (Marz & McKone), in which Hal Jordan makes peace with his past, present, and future while also battling The Cyborg (from Reign of the Supermen). Why they're making you buy Showcase #10: an Ultra Boy solo story by Boyd & Zachary. Plus Captain Comet, and Superman's Pal Bibbo. Superman Adventures #1 (Dini & Burchett). Based on the WB network's Superman animated series. Cover shows Supes, Luthor, Parasite, Darkseid, Bizarro, Brainiac, and what may be Metallo, Prankster, and the Linear Men. Jimenez). The hero formerly known as Aqualad finally gets his miniseries. Man of Steel Annual #5 (Busiek & P. Ryan) Starman Annual #1 (Robinson & various). But last month I erroneously reported that Titan was a moon of Jupiter when in fact it orbits Saturn. Blood: a Tale #1 of 4 (DeMatteis & K. Williams). Reprint of the old Epic miniseries. Had something to do with vampires, I recall... Wise Son: the White Wolf #1 of 4 (Ho Che Anderson). The long-delayed miniseries starring the leader of the Blood Syndicate. D. G.
