From: [p s touf f l] at [dsg.harvard.edu] (Paul Stoufflet) Newsgroups: talk.politics.guns,rec.guns Subject: Lever actions exempt from hi-cap feeding device ban Date: 14 Dec 1994 21:35:31 -0500 This may be old news, but apparently the BATF has dropped its opposition to importation of Italian replicas of old West lever actions that were purportedly banned under the crime bill due to the fact that they had capacities exceeding 10 rounds of centerfire. Apparently the BATF has decided that the high capacity feeding device ban was intended to apply only to semiauto firearms.
