Hmm. According to the court papers, there was about 2 guns per person. In my house there are approximately 50 guns per person. I consider the Davidians very poorly armed. >The self-defense excuse only works for the initial raid. It seems doubtfull that many >people could have escaped. You really don't know ANYTHING about this incident, do you? You're one of those people who swallows whatever the government feeds you without question. Let's go over a few things. There was NO explosion at the beginning of the fire. I have a tape of the whole thing. You ought to find a copy and view it. The explosion was about 10 minutes into the fire and was most likely a propane tank. The fairly slow and very luminous fireball look just like the ones from the propane tanks I've intentionally blown up. Next, it has only recently come out that the FBI was using acetone as the CS solvent. Do you know anything about acetone? Such as how flammable it is or how strong an intoxicant it is. Didn't think so. And were you aware that acetone goes right through the common military style gas masks the Davidians had? It is likely the Davidians were in a stupor when the concentration of acetone vapor reached flammable proportions. It was likely ignited by a lantern or cookstove. Still see no culpability to the FBI? It is pretty evident the BATF/FBI's real intent was to execute civil forfeiture against Mt. Carmel. They intended to take the compound and any wealth therein. It is likely no one would have ever been charged with anything. Koresh and his associates were pretty smart people. They most likely realized the government's real intent. They therefore had nothing to gain by surrendering and everything to lose. Take off your blinders, Bill and take another look. John -- John De Armond, WD4OQC |Interested in high performance cars?
