This is secondhand information.  Your mileage may vary.  
Gleaned from another group.

The announcement came from the special investigator.  They compared the
tapes that they got from the FBI to tapes being played by the media.

The FBI addmitted they had edited the tapes. They apologized and said
it was an accident.

The changes the FBI admits to:

   They changed the chronological order of some portions of the tapes
   They garbled some passages
   They deleted some passages

Again.  This is secondhand information.  I did not verify it.  Posted for
information and discussion only.
