We've been having a nasty time with our system. Anyway, I am a researcher and I'm extremely interested in recreational drugs. I have a degree in Alcoholism and Drug Dependencies and a very large personal library of reference material. The extracts you have were drawn from a variety of sources each. It would take me quite a while to sit down with each one and go back and find which books and materials I used to create it. Well, here are some references for the material. Unfortunately, I cannot recall exactly which citation was used for which extract, etc., but most of the material came through these references: "The Merck Manual", 15th ed., 1987, Merck Sharp & Dohme Research Laboratories. "The Non-Medical Use of Drugs.", Interium Report of the Canadian Government Commission of Inquiry, Penguin, 1971. "Prescription Pharmacy", J. Sprowls, 1963, J.B. Lippincott Company. "Cocaine Handbook", D. Lee, 1981, What If Company. "Clinical Handbook of Psychotropic Drugs", Bezchlibnyk-Butler, J. Jeffries, 2nd ed., 1990, Hogrefe & Huber. "Steady-State Enzyme Kinetics", Ainsworth, 1977, University Park Press. "The Dope Book", M. Lieberman, 1971, Praeger Publishers. "LSD On Campus", W. Young, J. Hixon, 1966, Dell Publications. "Drug Awareness", R. Horman, A. Fox, 1970, Avon Books. "Designer Drugs", M.M.Kirsch, 1986, Comprehensive Care Corp. "Peyote, The Divine Cactus", E. Anderson, 1980, Univ. of Arizona Press. "Drugs, Alcohol & Tobacco", Jones/Shainberg/Byer, 1970, Canfield Press. "The Speed Culture", L. Grinspoon, MD, 1975, Harvard University Press, London. "How To Grow Marijuana Indoors", M. Stevens, 1975, Sun Magic Publishing Co. "The Merck Index", 1990, Merck Sharp & Dohme "Clandestine Drug Laboratories", SLC Fire Dept Report, 1988, Internal Document. "Pharmaceuticals At the I.G. Farben Plant", Dept of Commerce, declassified document, Jan 18, 1946. "Juice of the Poppy", T. Gibb, Scientific American, October 1, 1921, p. 238. "The Source of the Poison Stream", W. McAdoo, May 1923. "The Versatile Opium Poppy", Bordaz, 1980. "Poppy Culture and Opium Manufacture in India, Scientific American Supplement No. 1724, 1922, p. 37. References From Which I Only Copied Information... (i.e. don't own the book, just copied pages from it for various info). "The Emotional Pharmacy" "Physician's Desk Reference" "The Origins and Sources of Drugs" "Encyclopedia Britanica" "Wyman's Gardening Encyclopedia" "Pills-a-Go-Go" "Encyclopedia of Psychotropic Drugs" "Recreational Drugs" Whew! I guess I did do a little research after all didn't I? Anyway, those are the sources for the extracts. Some used more than one, some used only one. I can't remember.
