"The review of the ban is in keeping with the practice of regularly reviewing policies and procedures, but does not signal a change in the current policy, nor imply that current policy will be reversed," said Philip Lee, head of the US Public Health Service. Lee said in a statement that the review was being conducted "at the request of members of Congress". He said he had not been given the names of the members involved. (end)
