Many, MANY studies have been done on this very topic, usually as a relative measurement of impairment in comparison with alcohol (do a search for Moscowitz, et al, on your cdroms). What they usually find is that: A) Alcohol impairs driving B) Marihuana alone does not impair driving nearly as much as alcohol, but it is not "harmless". C) The combined effects of alcohol and marihuana are *greater than the sum of the parts*. (They measured this both qualitatively and quantitatively). (remember, these were ONLY DUI studies) I can name 5 or 6 primary sources if anybody is interested in the subject matter (they are all, however, pretty old). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Juan G.
