I'm back with new softwarez for you to buy and flatline the competition with! You're gettin' the chance to buy 'em before the public does, so send me your order as soon as possible! NAME: Ninja STRENGTH: 4 against compilers ; 2 against other programs COST: 1,400eb MU: 5 CLASS: Anti-IC PROG/DIFF: 210/35 FUNCTIONS: Anti-IC (20) OPTIONS: Invisibility (3); Endurance (3); Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Anti-Program x4) Like a thief in the night, it enters your cyberdeck, and kills your compiler programs and leaves. If there are no compilers in your deck, it assaults all other programs. It moves invisibly and doesn't give up until its recalled or deleted. ICON: A medium-built male dressed in a black ninja uniform with a ninja-to slung over his shoulder. NAME: Samurai STRENGTH: 6 against compilers ; 3 against other programs COST: 1,360eb MU: 5 CLASS: Anti-IC PROG/DIFF: 204/34 FUNCTIONS: Anti-IC (20) OPTIONS: Endurance (3); Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Anti-Program x4) A stronger version of Ninja, yet more visible. ICON: A Japanese male cladded in traditional samurai armor and armed with a katana. NAME: Daimyo STRENGTH: 8 against compilers ; 4 against other programs COST: 1,440eb MU: 6 CLASS: Anti-IC PROG/DIFF: 216/36 FUNCTIONS: Anti-IC (20) OPTIONS: Endurance (3); Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Anti-Program x4) Proud and full of honor, daimyo searches the opposing deck for a demon and challenges it to a duel to the death. ICON: A Japanese male wearing a silk, white robe and wielding a katana in his right hand and a wakizashi in his left hand. NAME: Short Sword STRENGTH: 6 COST: 7,750eb MU: 5 CLASS: Anti-Personnel PROG/DIFF: 186/31 FUNCTIONS: Anti-Personnel (20) OPTIONS: Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25) As a military assault programmer, I was always privy to what the military developed as offensive software. Well, I needed something that had more of a cutting edge as far as software was concerned, so I started forging swords to use in my assaults. So there really is no need for you to give me a piece of your mind when I can cut a slice for myself. This program causes 1D6 points of physical damage per round to the netrunner until you cease the attack or the netrunner dies. ICON: A double-edged blade with a pearl handle. NAME: Long Sword STRENGTH: 8 COST: 8,250eb MU: 5 CLASS: Anti-Personnel PROG/DIFF: 198/33 FUNCTIONS: Anti-Personnel (20) OPTIONS: Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25) A stronger version of Short Sword. ICON: A double-edged blade with a jewel encrusted handle. NAME: Katana STRENGTH: 10 COST: 8,750eb MU: 5 CLASS: Anti-Personnel PROG/DIFF: 210/35 FUNCTIONS: Anti-Personnel (20) OPTIONS: Superrealistc Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25) The strongest sword in the Sword Series from Deadlock Enterprises. Look, if you wanna play with the nastiest of the nastiest, then you gotta be better armed then they are or you end up for sale in a meat shop with people bidding on you kidneys. This causes 1D10 points of damage per round to the netrunner until he/she escapes, you cease your assault, or he/she dies. ICON: A katana made of the highest craftsmanship. NAME: Ranger STRENGTH: 6 COST: 1,720eb MU: 7 CLASS: Demon PROG/DIFF: 258/43 FUNCTIONS: Compiler (10) OPTIONS: Movement Ability (5); Recognition (2); Invisibility (3); Memory (5); Endurance (3); Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Compiler x4) You've seen Sniper here first! Now bare witness to its brother-in-arms! The second compiler in Deadlock Enterprises' Soldier Series. Like its brother, it can move independently, recognize the difference between a netrunner and a program, and its invisible. However, Ranger will remember names, places, and dates, never quit, and is stronger! If you buy your subroutines from Deadlock Enterprises, you'll have a choice of stealth, intrusion, utility (copy), and evasion. Or you may opt for the Airborne Ranger Package: Anti-System, Anti-Program, stealth, and evasion. ICON: A muscular black male dressed in woodland camouflage carrying ALICE gear and a Colt M16A2/M203, an assault rifle/grenade launcher combination. NAME: Infantry Ranger Subroutine PROG/DIFF: 150/25 COST 375eb FUNCTIONS: Stealth (15); Intrusion (15); Utility [Copy] (10); Evasion (10) COST MULTIPLIER: x2 (Stealth x2; Intrusion X1; Utility x1; Evasion x2; Subroutine x1/2) NAME: Airborne Ranger Subroutine PROG/DIFF: 180/30 COST: 7,200eb FUNCTIONS: Anti-System (15); Evasion (10); Anti-Program (20); Stealth (15) COST MULTIPLIER: x24 (Anti-System x3; Evasion x2; Anti-Program x4; Stealth x2; Subroutine x1/2) NAME: Arc Light STRENGTH: 7 COST: 2,400eb MU: 4 CLASS: Demon PROG/DIFF: 180/30 FUNCTIONS: Compiler (10) OPTIONS: Movement Ability (5); Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER; x4 (Compiler x4; Highly Specialized x2) An awe-inspiring sight if you're on the delivery end, a deadly vision if you're the target. This compiler holds three programs designed to attack anything in its path. However, the drawback to this compiler is that it will alert any anti-system, anti-program, and anti-personnel software within eight spaces immediately. ICON: A squadron of eight, B-52 bombers dropping bombs. NAME: Arc Light Subroutine PROG/DIFF: 165/27.5 COST: 3,125eb FUNCTIONS: Anti-System (15); Anti-Program (20); Anti-Personnel (20) COST MULTIPLIER: x150 (Anti-System x3; Anti-Program x4; Anti-Personnel x25; Subroutine x1/2) NAME: SR-71 Blackbird STRENGTH: 7 COST: 2,840eb MU: 7 CLASS: Intrusion PROG/DIFF: 426/71 FUNCTIONS: Evasion (10); Stealth (15); Intrusion(15) OPTIONS: Movement Ability (5); Recognition (2); Invisibility (3); Memory (5); Speed (2); Endurance (3); Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Evasion x2; Stealth x2; Intrusion x1) There one minute, the next it's gone. A few of my friends (before they were flatlined) said it would be nice to know what's in a data fortress before they made their run against it. Then it hit me! There was a demand for software that I could supply. So I developed something that had to have independent movement, classify various signals, remember what it saw, be fast and able to endure the rigors of the net, as well as do it without with being seen. My inspiration: a poster of an SR-71 Blackbird during a pre-dawn flight. With it's three spaces for evasion, stealth, and intrusion subroutines, if you buy them from us, they enemy won't see you coming and when you leave, they won't know you've been there! ICON: An SR-71 Blackbird. NAME: Nuke STRENGTH: 7 COST: 1,000eb MU: 3 CLASS: Demon PROG/DIFF: 150/25 FUNCTIONS: Compiler (10) OPTIONS: Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Compiler x4; Specialized x1) There really is nothing to explain about this compiler. It contains three subroutines: anti-system, anti-program, and anti-personnel. Place this explosive in the data fortress and run like hell! Anything or anyone within ten spaces of ground zero will suffer 3D10 points of damage. Anyone or anything that enters up to thirty seconds after zero hour will suffer half damage. Someone call a Trauma Team and NetWatch, this ain't gonna be pretty! Anyone or anything within eightteen spaces will be privileged to the deadly vision of the Mushroom Cloud. ICON: A lead metallic ball about the size of a soccer ball before it explodes. After it explodes, a mushroom cloud. NAME: Nuke Subroutine PROG/DIFF: 165/27.5 COST: 3,125eb FUNCTIONS: Anti-System (15); Anti-Program (20); Anti-Personnel (20) COST MULTIPLIER: x150 (Anti-System x3; Anti-Program x4; Anti-Personnel x25; Subroutine x1/2) NAME: Kevlar STRENGTH: 5 COST: 150eb MU: 1 CLASS: Protection PROG/DIFF: 90/15 FUNCTIONS: Protection (10) OPTIONS: Superrealistic Icon (5) COST MULTIPLIER: x1 (Protection x1) Yo! You didn't think I'd create all this software without creating somethin' that would protect you now, did you? ICON: A pair of black pants and a black jacket made of kevlar material. This now ends your session in Programming 102. Those who live by the sword, get shot with a gun! EMAIL: [d--dl--k] at [hopi.dtcc.edu] HOME PAGE: http://www.dtcc.edu/personal/staff/deadlock/
