Corporation Dossier: God, Incorporated Chief Executive Officer: Fenra Dramingia Other Officers: The Guardian Gross Income (2053): 7,420,435,210.23 Net Income (2053): 234,345,564.78 Headquarters: Midgaard Complex, Redline Sub-Divisions: Deitech Major Products: Religious Materials, Weaponry God, Inc. was founded in 2050 in a large garage by a group of runners trying to obtain a Heavy Weapons License. Despite The Swede's (The group's fixer) recommendations towards a toilet puck manufacturing firm, they decided to start a publishing business. Among their early successes were: The World According to Gern The World According to Me Random Religion The money earned from these massive successes sped the fledgling company along. Within a year they had moved to their converted mall/office building complex in Redline. Later renamed the Midgaard Complex, this area has served as the corporate head quarters ever since. Although God, Inc. still produces some limited number of Religious Material, their most important and influential business lies in the weapons manufacturing business. This Deitech division was started on a budget of under a million nuyen, but has become the largest source of the company's income. Some attribute this to the flagging popularity of Gern's religious works, and Deitech's first product: High-Explosive Armor-Piercing ammunition for heavy pistols (later others). The popularity of this new ammo had kept God, Inc. afloat during a huge drop in sales of Religious Material. Of interest though is the rapid transition of Deitech's weapon's designers. Their first head designer was killed at a Humanist Policlub Meeting, two others quit, and another left to design surfboards. Eventually, things have settled down, but these early problems are attributed to the demanding nature of the CEO. The CEO: Fenra Dramingia Race: Human Sex: Female Hermetic Mage Fenra is a beautiful, young woman. Early in her life she underwent surgery to become an adult simsense star, but after a few low-budget flops, she began to study magic. She is vain, and rather carefree with her body. However, she is still a paranoid and demanding person. Her office in the Midgaard Tower gives testament to her soul: "I was called up to see HER, over some little deal in shipping. I didn't know of any problem, but I guess she did. I got to the eighth floor, where her office and apartments are. It was very somber. The lights had been turned down, and the black marbled walls reflected my image as I walked down the hall, desperately trying not to break the silence here. I got to HER door. It was all black with some mystic symbol on it, and her name in silver letters. I knocked, and a cold voice from inside said "Come In.". Opening the door, I saw the back of a huge chair, a desk, and several bookcases. The windows were set in Dim mode, so the chair was silhoue- tted again the light. She spun around towards me, and looked right at me. "Dave...I am very happy with the situation in shipping. I have ordered a five percent pay raise for all of you.". For just an instant, she came out of her walls. She graced me with a genuine, caring smile. Then she was herself again, the dark shadows around her eyes reflecting her soul." -Dave, Shipping Clerk Fenra is a potent mage, possessing a Sorcery skill of at least 8. She has been know to summon elementals to retreive people she wanted. Characters should never meet Fenra in combat, but merely as an employer, her chromed nails leaving marks in the wood of the desk. Midgaard Complex: The Midgaard complex was once a mall and an office building across the street. God, Inc. purchased both in 2051 as the site of their new headquarters. The two buildings are now connected by various tunnels and shielded walkways. The mall is now the manufacturing plant, while the office tower handles business affairs and houses the CEO and varrious other important persons in the company. The entire complex is fenced off with double chain-link. Their are only two roads into the complex on the surface: via the parking lot gates, one at the tower, another at the plant. Their are over 150 guards on duty at any given time, all armed with Deitech Weapons. Also two local gangs have been hired by God, Inc. to defend them in case of crisis. These gangs will show up within ten minutes of any obvious assault. Some Products: HEAP Ammo: Available for any weapon larger than a light pistol, this ammunition combines an armor-piercing, teflon coated head with a small explosive charge. It does damage as if it were of one higher power level and one lower staging (Heavy Pistols do 5M2, etc.). All armor types recieve a -1 modifier versus this type of round. HEAP ammo is infamous for the "boils" it raises in hard armour. Cost: 3 times normal ammo cost. Shadow: This minuscle heavy pistol was degigned to be hidden easily. It is shaped somewhat like a very tiny sawed-off shotgun and has two barrels, one beneath the other. It has an eight round magazine, and is capable of firing all heavy pistol ammo except for FIREPOWER (tm). Concealability: 8, Cost: 450. Please note that more Deitech Weapons will be given in later writings by myself. This company and its products are all products of a Shadowrun game I was in a couple of years back. In the campaign, the company was eventually destroyed by Eco-Terrorists, sending Fenra and Company back to the streets. But I figure that the weapons we designed, as well as the corp itself were kind of interesting, so here is the God, Inc. dossier. If this is full of ^M I'm sorry, I used a DOS editor for it. Just E-Mail me if you permission, you probably have form for it. Dunkelzahn [D--ke--a] at [titan.ucc.umass.edu]
