The Human Aura The Human Aura is a branch of the Humanis Policlub, recruiting magical talent from within its ranks to promote the Humanis ideals. The group is divided into two sections, the Inner Chamber, and the Congregation. The congregation is all members of the policlub that are magically active. The Inner Chamber is comprised of the type of men that Hitler would have been proud to call brother. Intelligent, charismatic, and racist to the extreme. These men have proven themselves to the Humanis cause time and time again. These are the men who plan the long term strategy of the policlub, and plan some of it's most vile crimes. Members of the Policlub who are not magically active, with the exception of high ranking officials, are completely unaware that this group functions within the Humanis Policlub. The group acts for the most part in a covert manner, keeping their activities secret from the rest of the policlub to protect the group from outside scrutiny. In order for a member to be granted the right to become an initiate, they must recruit another person into the group. Either this person is to be a current member of the Humanis Policlub, or be recruited into both the group and the policlub. Most of these new recruits will be found at universities, and other so-called hot beds of intellectual thought. It is rumoured that the leader of the Inner Chamber is the head of the Humanis Policlub, but that has never been proven. Name: The Human Aura Type: Initiatory/Conspiratorial Members: Congregation: 275, Inner Chamber: 21 Limitations: Humans only, Moral Code, Humanis Policlub Member Strictures: Belief, Fraternity, Karma, Oath, Obedience, Secrecy. (Inner Chamber: Belief, Exclusive Membership, Exclusive Ritual, Link, Oath, Obedience, Secrecy) Resources/Dues: Low. Dues $400 (80 nuyen) per month. (Inner Chamber: High. None) Patron: none (Humanis Policlub) Customs: Members of the Congregation are required to dedicate one week a month in research or similar activity for the benefit of the group as a whole. New spells are immediately copied, and stored, providing a huge library for high-ranking members. It is rare for a member of the Congregation to be taken into the Inner Chamber, but it does happen. However, the screening process is so intense, that it has been completely impossible for any organization to infiltrate the Inner Chamber. The screening process includes voluntary mind probes, and the candidate must plan and lead a group to kill a selected target, usually metahumans. GM NOTE: There are three members of Alamos 20,000 in the Inner Chamber, and fifteen in the Congregation. Of the three members, one is second in command of the terrorist group that has claimed thousands of metahuman lives. Two members of the Inner Chamber are government employees who hold high-ranking, or sensitive positions within government. The is no public knowledge concerning their association with the order, or the Policlub, other then that they are sympathetic. Copyright (C) 1992 Paul Devisser All rights reserved. Umm, just one note... The Human Aura doesn't have a headquarters listed in the file, while all the others do make some mention of their origin. The reasoning for this was that they would probably be located somewhere incredibly secret, and their origin would be lost, shrouded in secrecy, confusion, etc....
