have left the info but the full understandin was still with them.  It
was then that I noticed a small discrepency in the matrix.  Someone
had done a really nice job of coverin up a matrix breakin of the exec
system.  It was real pretty work, Ah almost didn't see it.  The
traces they left were so faint that no one in the company noticed
that the information had been taken, copied then put back with the
record of the coping erased.  Well, there was nothin else ta find
out, they were at the same place in production and they had not given
the idea to anyone else. 
         
So our only lead is that someone, with some very good deckin talent,
has the Fuchi files on Project Red Dwarf and they might be able ta
produce a Cyberbot now.  Ah am sorry that Ah don't have more.]<<<<<

hours. 

Later, he was woken when some guy punched him rather solidly in the
stomach. For the next few hours he was steadily beaten.  No one ever
asked him a single question nor made any demands (and nobody EVER
contacted Yoshida Tech).

After he was beaten, everyone left.  We found him later still
hanging from the overhead pipe.  He kept himself alive with careful
meditation.  He commented that except for the guy beating him,
there were NO life-auras on anyone.  Also, noone ever talked to
each other.  It was like they all knew exactly what they were
doing. 

Finally, the most disturbing thing is that we found a single typed
note lying on a table in the same room as my father.  It said:

is accessed by the corp that it is read only for ity is something
silly like a message about the road runner or smurfs or something
silly and archaic like that and quickly degardes and eats itself. 
The message that I wanted sent and read has a simple hunt command
tacked on to go find the node I want the actual message sent to
while still looking like a read only to anyone not authorized or
who can't break my encryption.  Anyway the way that I see it is
that if I can do maybe someoone else can and in a tenuous situation
like we have here on Omega I think a little paranoia is not

corrupt members of the UCAS military. 

Let us examine Roger Quention, the so called Secretary of State. 
Members of the People's Liberation Army have examined his
background, and have been made aware of the results of a number of
investigations into his background. First, let it be made known
that Mr. Quention has no experience in matters of international
politics.  His career began in the UCAS military, then moved to the
corporate sector, where he founded the MagnaTech corporation, whose
story has been documented in worldwide news.  We have also been
made aware of the fact that he led a team of commandos during the
end of the eurowars that captured a chemical plant in Denmark.  We
have discovered that he took control of this plant under an assumed
name, and is suspected of creating a number of designer drugs
there. 

Next we have Tirandor, corporate dragon extrordinaire.  I do not
need to even mention his attempt to takeover MagnaTech.  It is
clear that his extensive security force makes an adequate army, but
he makes no attempts to hide the fact that he is here for profit. 
He has brought his corporate headquarters here aboard the Intrepid,
and continues to conduct the business of his international
corporation, Dragon's Den International from the same place where
he supposedly conducts official government business.  He has been
using government resources to relentlessly hunt down personal
enemies within our borders.  He clearly cannot seperate his duties
as Secretary of Defense from his corporate interests and personal
vendettas. 

Now consider the so called Secretary of the interior, Dr. Kevin
Fung.  He is an interesting choice.  He has absolutely no
experience with any matters of government!  His entire life has
been spent as a biotechnology researcher with a PhD in
Bioengineering.  He has worked for several corporations, most of
which were owned by Quention, Tirandor, and their late associate
Lincoln Howe.  Prior to meeting his current companions, he is
suspected of conducting hazardous genetic research on unwilling
subjects, leaving many disfigured or dead.  While he is a brilliant
researcher, he is a criminal genius and should be treated as such. 

The final player to examine is the UCAS ambassador, General Wendell
Trevor. While he is fully qualified to act as a diplomat for the
UCAS, he has great say in what goes on in Omega, especially for a
diplomatic observer who is not supposed to get directly involved.  He
has a long standing career with the UCAS military, but is suspected
of corruption of the highest caliber. We have reason to believe that
he has bribed a large number of agents within the UCAS CIA, as well
as other UCAS officials.  When Quention was in the army, he answered
directly to Trevor.  Trevor is belived to have provided illegaly
acuired funds to Quention and the MagnaTech corporation for some time
now. 

These people are using the government as a front for the conspiracy
they have been a part of for years now.  They refuse to release
information on their mysterious satellite project for reasons of
National Security.  They are the real power behind the government,
and have arranged to have many of their own emloyees elected to
legislative positions.  As I stated before, they control the
government, not the president.  They are guilty of conspiracy and
have shady pasts.  They have probably committed more crimes than
anyone even suspects.  How can this sham dare to call itself a
government!  The People's Liberation Army exists to correct this,
and place a true governing body in power.  We urge that all world
governments place immediate sanctions on these criminals who
pretend to speak for the people until they are removed from power.

Your people were worried about the Entrepid shelling you?  Don't
worry, they're dead in the water.  Oh, I can also explain why
Tirandor hasn't been making his presence felt immediately on land.

After I saw your request, I talked to Shwunsi (my girlfriend, a
dolphin shaman).  She talked to her pod, and they said that they
would help with a distraction while I went in.  It seems that the
Omega security forces have dumped all sorts of shit off of those
container ships they've intercepted.  Dolphin doesn't find that
very amusing.  So, the pod called up several *BIG* water elementals
(I've been around water elementals, I know what they look like when
they manifest.  I haven't seen elementals this big since I was in
the military!) 

While the elementals gathered up lots of trash, myself and a buddy
with a rigged submarine moved in as close as possible.  Stupid
creeps were running active sonar!  Wench (yes, she really calls
herself that) has active damping on the sub, and the huge cloud of
metal and plastic swelling off the bottom didn't help the Entrepids
sonar. :) 

As the garbage soared out of the water and splatted on the deck
where Tirandor was sunning himself, I slipped out the subs airlock
and headed for the main prop shafts.  Shwunsi appeared next to me
(I hate it when she does that, scares the hell out of me) and I
felt a water elemental pulling me along.  Very helpfull those
elementals. 

Shwunsi just told me that while I was busy underwater, those big
elementals were pestering Tirandor by putting the garbage back
everytime he tried to get rid of it.  Of course, having her entire
pod calling up new ones everytime one of their elementals got sent
away didn't hurt. :)

I found the main shafts.  Big suckers, too.  I packed their main
bearings with C-12, about 20 kilos per shaft.  I knew I didn't have
enough along to crack her hull, but a nice ring of C-12 around each
bearing did wonders.  I imagine her engine room will be inaccessible
for a while, and they are going to have to replace both shafts.  If
you see any sea going tugs leaving the island, shoot them!  The
Entrepid is NOT moving under her own power for a while. 

(Oh, for those who are worried about her reactor, don't.  It is
in the center of the ship and won't have been effected by the hole
in the main bearings in the least.)

The Entrepid is currently adrift 50 klicks north of Omega City.
Sorry, but she's still in range for her planes, but not for the
guns.

You see, Raven's school has been going through some hard times
lately. They're trying to recruit more Metahuman students,
especially Orks and Trolls, but it's an expensive school and many
people can't attend. They're also being rocked by sexual

coming on to some of the junior faculty a little strong. Anyway,
she wanted to see some of her old friends and profs and it turned
out that Trent's film /simulation had been brought by the student
government for all to see. 
         
Well, at first I wasn't too thrilled by it at all-docusimulations
just don't do it for me. But then I realized that Trent had won a
major award for this, and I realized I could make a contact in the
industry. So I stood near Trent and gradually made my way, and we got
to talking about the show. We went outside for a smoke and I got to
CARRY THE OSCAR. We talked and I was told about a number of
internships available in Santa Monica but especially North Carolina,
where they're opening up a new studio. 
         
I watched the sho and it was pretty exciting. Afterwards, we went out
to Dead Robin and had some drinks. Trent had to talk to some groupies
but had promised the people at the bar that he'd show the award
around, so Igot sent to show it to everyone. It's at least 20 kg!
         
So anyway, I'm just hopping around from node to node now giving
everyone Oscar Power <!-bzzzt-!>. I'm going to have to write my
other contacts, Ms. Erin Spelling and Ford Harrison; maybe I'll be

Omega Island was a hotbed of activity today after nearly two weeks
of news blackout.  As soon as news net reports started coming in,
the island erupted with military activity.

It has been confirmed that the so called terrorists are actually a
rebellion against the Omega government, and the revelation has sent a
shockwave through the world diplomatic community.  To further fan the
fires, the rebels staged a series of simultaneous assaults on the
capital city and the surrounding areas.  The Omega Army beat back the
rebels, but at a great cost.  Since the attack, Omega President
Micheal Jamain has not been seen. His waterfront home was apparently
riddled with bullets, and onlookers reported that an unmarked Half
Track crashed through the front of the home, pulling away minutes
later.  Although our sources cannot confirm, it is suspected that the
Rebels have captured the President. 

Fires destroyed several buildings near the capitol and a number of
construction sites.  Damage is estimated in the millions of nuyen.

At the same time, the computer system used to coordinate the Omega
government was hit by a major virus that completely disabled the
system. The authorities report that a number of deckers entered the
supposedly inpenetrable system and implanted the virus which still
ravages the system. 

Also, the Intrepid and several other Omega ships were attacked by
underwater troops.  Several ships were sunk, and the Intrepid was
left temporarily stranded north of the Island due to damage caused by
an explosion in its engine room.

The leaders of the Omega government refused to comment on the
attack, but Tirandor has publically stated that he has proof that a
group of UCAS nationals have been aiding and abetting the rebels,
who he refers to as a band of crimina l anarchists.  Mr. Quention
also stated that the accusations made by Jacob Marcus are a
consummate work of fiction, worthy of an epic novel.  Dr. Fung was
not available for comment, but has informed us through channels
that he agrees with his associates. 

How the Omega government handles this latest crisis could very well
determine the future of this tiny island nation.

INN News Update:  The Omega Island government is calling it a prime
example of the degenerate moral character of the rebellion against
their lawful rule. Today at a group of PLA soldiers entered a school
and planted a bomb.  The bomb exploded and if not for the quick
action of one of the school security guards hundreds of childern,
ranging in age from 5 to 18, would have been killed in the blast.

The office of Omega President Michael Jamain released the following
statment: 

The accuasations of the Rebels are below comtempt.  They attempt to
make the government look bad while rising themselves above the truth
of their own sordid oganizations.  Jacob Marcus the so-called leader
of the PLA is nothing but a figurehead.  A figurehead for the true
leaders of this "rebellion".  These men are Shadowrunners on a
personal vendetta against members of the government. 

The first of these men is a Vat-Job Yakuza Assassin who goes by the
name of Tommy "the Dragon" Harada.  Harada is wanted by the UCAS
government for multiple murders in the Chicago and New York areas
along with the attempted murders of our asemmed Secretary of Defense
Tirandor and our Secretary of Commerence Roger Quention.

The second of these men is a New York-based Elven Decker know only
as the "Dark Elf".  Dark Elf and his team of Shadowrunners have
been constantly interfering in Tirandor's affairs as CEO of DDI and
are now following him to Omega to interfer with is duties as

The bombing upon the Quention Education Center was performed by 5
members of the PLA, who entered the school between classes so they
appeared to be students. They entered the boiler room, killing a
janitor who was in the room.  If not for the quick actions of a
school guard, who spotted the interlopers and triggered the fire
alarm, all the childern would have been in the school when the bomb
went off.  Elements of the Omega Defense Force were sent to capture
the rebels who choose to fight to the death rather than be
captured.  It is obvious that the PLA means to use terrorism
against the people of Omega in an attempt to overthrow the
government.  The Defense Force will stand ready and viligent
against this mindless agression.

Today, after coding for a few hours too many, I went out for a walk.
I noticed that a group of four guys were leaving the compound rather
stealthily.  I decided to follow them to see what they were up to.
After getting about 4 miles from the camp they met up with this guy.
I don't know who he was, but they seemed pretty damn intimidated by
him.  They talked for a little bit and then the guy lead them off.

Were he lead them to was the Roger Quention Education Center (the
arrogant bastard had the name changed to his).  They left a guard
to keep an eye out for the Army and went inside.  I jumped the guy,
disarmed him and asked him what the hell was going on.  He didn't
want to say, so I let him get a close look at my dikoted survival
knife (damn, I wish I could carry my katana).  He told me that
Brian whatever is damn name told them that their families were
being held by the Army.  If they didn't do what they were told
their families would die.  They checked it out and sure enough
their families had been arrested.  I asked him what they were told
to do and he said they were to meet this guy and do whatever he
told them.  Getting a little fustrated I told him to get to the
details.  He said the guy was some Merc and he was going to plant a
bomb in the school to blow up after school got out.  I cursed him
and knocked the moron out. 

I went into the school and figuring they would place the bomb in the
boiler room went there.  Sure enough they were there.  There was a
dead body in the room and the merc was setting some nasty explosives
around the place.  Someone spotted me and they tried to take me out.
I'm sorry guys, but there were too many of them for me to be nice.
Quickly it was down to me and the Merc who had just finished up with
the bomb. I told him to disarm it to which he laughed.  I threatened
to kill him, but he laughed a little more and said that I obviously
didn't know demolitions and thus would not kill him, besides the bomb
would go off in a minute and we had best get out of there.  I killed
the bastard (he was fast but not fast enough), went out into the
hall, and set off the fire alarm. 

By the time I got outside, the place was crawling with Omega Army.
It was obviously a setup.  Get some rebels to follow a merc to set
the bomb, evacuate the school, let the bomb go off, capture the
rebels and gain info and a drekload of favorable publicity. 
Needless to say the bomb went off.  All the guys inside died, but
they had captured the guy I left outside.  Couldn't let them have
him. After a few days of torture, he would say anything they
wanted.  I moved off into the bush, got a bead, and killed him.

        was at the podium responding to the allegations made by the
        leader of the resistance in his nation, Jacob Marcus.  The
        exchange was started by the demand of a German delegate
        demanding explanation of the sinking of one of its
        freighters in the Atlantic yesterday:

        to ignore the feeble accusations of the rebels.  Our
        government is not bound by corporate interests.  These
        rebels merely seek to legitimize their criminality.

GERMANY:  You accuse others of criminality?!?  Perhaps you would
        care to explain your actions of yesterday in the Atlantic.

HASTINGS:  We searched a ship, the _Hamburg_, I believe, under our
        Secretary of Defense suspicion that a enemy of our state was
        aboard.

GERMANY:  I see...and then you saw fit to destroy that freighter.

HASTINGS:  I hardly think this is the time to discuss--

GERMANY:  Nein!  Antwort die Frage!  You destroyed the _Hamburg_, a
        non-combative ship in international waters!!!

HASTINGS:  An enemy of our state was aboard!

GERMANY:  Was he discovered to be on board?

HASTINGS:  Well, no--

GERMANY:  And what of your evidence of this supposed enemy's guilt?
        What did he do?

HASTINGS:  Well, we have not yet ascertained exactly what he did,
        but-- 

GERMANY:  So, you destroyed a ship without provocation, merely on
        your SUSPICIONS?  Is that right, mein Herr?  More than 100
        men lost their lives on that boat!  Men with families!

HASTINGS:  Well, certainly, we extend our deepest regrets to the
        families of--

GERMANY:  SPARE me your empty platitudes!  You have acted in
        violation of International Law, and have challenged the
        Honor of my nation!

At that point, the representative of the German delegation stormed
out of the room.  At the end of the exchange, Ambassador Hastings
looked positively white, possibly because he was aware of what
today's events might mean.  However, neither he nor anyone else
from the Omega Island Embassy could be reached for comment on
Germany's heated accusations. 

As to who the German delegate was, that has proved a bit of a
mystery.  Unlike his associated delegates, he was in a German Army
uniform, which made him look somewhat out of place.  Despite this,
we have not been able to discover his identity.

Although no member of the German Consulate here in New York has
cared to comment on the incident, it is a well known fact that
Germany has been the most outspoken critic of Omega Island's entry
into the United Nations.  In fact, the speech made today in
response to the leader of the resistance was an attempt to head off
any further deterioration of the tiny nation's international
support. Unfortunately for them, it backfired.  And the cost of
their mistake may very well mean war.

        clock. The base of the Imperial Navy has been closed due to
        security reasons, but from our position we can see smoke
        rising from the stacks on several of the warships here,
        obviously meaning they intend to set sail.  I'm sorry we
        can't show you any pictures, but I've been told by
        authorities that it is a matter of state security. 

        What I can tell you is that several craft have already left,
        and some of the bigger ships are getting up steam to
        depart. I imagine in a few hours the entire fleet shall be
        on its way to the open sea.  Back to you, Sheila. 

SHEILA:  Thank you, Shadows.  Now, for the international reaction to these
        events, let's go on over to Kirstin McClellan, at the United
        Nations.  Kirstin? 

KIRSTIN:  Thank you, Sheila.  Well, today, the German delegation has announced
        its intentions to move against Omega, and challenged the
        rest of the members to follow its lead, especially UCAS,
        Great Britain, and Japan. 

        Due to the allegations of corruption directed at the UCAS
        Ambassad or, General Trevor, the UCAS government appears not
        to get overly involved until it has more information, and
        does a little house cleaning.  Both the Empire of Japan and
        the United Kingdom have expressed support for Germany's
        actions, but have not, as yet, offered assistance. 

        Before Omega Island could counter Germany's move, Ambassador
        Kurt von Halde read a message from the Leader of the
        resistance, Jacob Marcus.  Here are some excerpts:

                "People of the world, hear me!  The government of
                Omega Island is a farce. Just examine the important
                people in this so called government.  True, the
                president of Omega is a local man named Michael
                Jamain, but does he have any real power? NO!!!!!  He
                is but a pawn used to give this government a veil of
                legitimacy. The true power lies in the hands of a
                group of shady corporate execs and corrupt members
                of the UCAS military..." 

                "...These people are using the government as a front
                for the conspiracy they have been a part of for
                years now. They refuse to release information on
                their mysterious satellite project for reasons of
                National Security. They are the real power behind
                the government, and have arranged to have many of
                their own employees elected to legislative
                positions. As I stated before, they control the
                government, not the president. They are guilty of
                conspiracy and have shady pasts. They have probably
                committed more crimes than anyone even suspects. 
                How can this sham dare to call itself a government! 
                The People's Liberation Army exists to correct this,
                and place a true governing body in power. We urge
                that all world governments place immediate sanctions
                on these criminals who pretend to speak for the

        The reactions were many and varied, but most were moved by
        this articulate plea from the freedom fighter leader. 
        Condemnation of the tiny nation was felt throughout the
        Assembly Hall.  No one save the Omega Island delegation
        themselves objected. 

        So there you have it, Omega Island has, despite its best
        efforts, remained a topic of controversy here at the U.N. 
        Following the German delegation's angrily storming out of
        the auditorium yesterday, they have made it clear that they
        mean to take military action against the little state.  This

INN:  In a surprise move today, the UCAS government has come out
        strongly against the German Declaration of War against the
        fledging Omega Island.  In a strongly worded statement by
        UCAS Ambassador Lt. General Wendell Trevor, the government
        as stated that if Germany tries to prosocute it's war
        against Omega Island that there will be serious
        international reprocusions. 

        Here is part of the press conversence given by Lt. General
        Trevor: 

                "It is the opinion of the UCAS government that
                Germany's Declaraton of War against Omega Island is
                a direct violation of several provisions of
                International Law. Germany is clearly overreacting
                to the unfortunate sinking of one of thier ships by
                a vessel of the Omega Navy.  Not only has the Omega
                Government not had enough time to investigate the
                actions taken by the captain of the offending ship,
                but Germany has failed to go through diplomatic
                channels to get the Omega Government to pay for this
                action. 

                "By stepping directly to armed conflict, without
                petitioning the United Nations for sanctions of any
                kind towards Omega Island, Germany has proven itself
                to be the country that needs to be watched very
                carefully. Even now UCAS ambassadors to the Native
                American Nations, the Confederate American States,
                Azatlan, and Great Britian are lobbying for
                sanctions and formation of a military coalition to
                end this German aggression. The President has also
                vowed that if German Military Force land on Omega
                Island that the UCAS will do all in it's power to
                force them to leave." 

        The General then opened the Press Conference to questions. 
        Here are several of his answers.

                "General Trevor, what is the Presidents opinion on
                your suitablity to continue as ambassador to Omega
                Island given the allagations of the People's
                Liberation Army?" 

                "I have been investigated various times in my career
                as a UCAS soldier and have always been found to have
                been completely innocent of any wrongdoing.  The
                President has told me personally that he has the
                upmost confidence in my abilities to continue at
                this post. In fact after this conference I am
                returning to Omega Island to meet with the acting
                President of the nation." 

                "General Trevor, what is the UCAS position on the
                sinking of the German ship by Omega Forces?"

                "We feel that is was an unfortunate incident and
                that Omega Island should make reperations to Germany
                for this act. However our own intelligence along
                with some we have recieved for Omega Island indicate
                that a ally of the true leaders of the Omega
                Rebellion was supposed to have been onboard that
                vessel." 

                "What do you mean when you say "the True Leaders" of
                the Omega Rebellion." 

                "I mean the two criminals Dark Elf and Tommy
                Harada. It is beyond reason that Jacob Marcus is the
                leader of this movement. The mere fact that the
                Omega Government has been in existance less than 3
                months makes a rebellion started by domestic forces
                to be impossible. This combined with the several
                terrorist bombings by Tommy Harada before the
                Rebellion began and Harada's place as the military
                leader of the Rebellion prove that the rebellion is
                a farce. It is the work of two disturbed men on
                personal vendettas against members of the the Omega
                Government." 

                "Are there any other pieces of proof that the
                Rebellion was started by outside forces?"

                "Yes.  The Omega Government has made a list of over
                a dozen Shadowrunners based in the UCAS, CAS, and
                NAN that are taking part in the rebellion.  The
                attack on the Intrepid was performed by an outside
                operative and it is believed that the kidnapping of
                the president was performed by Dark Elf and his

        So as you can see, the UCAS Government has come down
        strongly against Germany's Declaration of War on Omega
        Island. The UCAS ambassador to the United Nations is at this
        very moment making calls for UN abritrated negoiatitions to

My first task was to establish Kentucky's true identity, I was
pretty certain from the decriptions I had of him, his style and
cyber that we were talking about one Roderick Henderson. 
Officially listed as missing from the UCAS airforce.

Henderson/Kentucky : A Profile.

Born 7 October 2012 in Miami Florida.

Graduated from high school and joined the West Point military
academy.  From there he became a 2nd Lieutenant in the UCAS
airforce.  Now comes the intresting bit.

'In June 2036 Kentucky or as he was known then, 'Roderick Henderson'
crashed in a small group of islands just of the south east coast of
China.  He went missing for 2.5 years, survey missions failed to find
him though his plane was found.  The survey teams were hampered by
native almost primative tribes that gained access to magic very early
on in the awakening.  After 1 year missing rescue attempts were
stopped and he was 'assumed dead'. 

Then 2.5 years after his crash he walked into a UCAS embassy on the
Phillipines asking to be taken home.  When asked about what had
happened he described being held hostage for the last 2.5 years. 
The reasons for his being held hostage were unclear, a couple of
escape attempts proved futile with the natives of the island
quickly recovering him.  Resigned to the fact that escape was
impossible Henderson waited for a rescue team or a negotiated
release.  In the end neither came.  One morning Henderson woke to
find himself unchained and the guards absent. 
 
Airforce intelligence checked him out thouroughly using the latest
in lie detectors and the crude mind probe spells that some
magicaians had developed by that time.  Everything he said checked
out true so after rest and recuperation Roderick Henderson was
placed back onto light duties. 

However Henderson soon proved that he was fit and able, in fact more
able if anything, than before the crash, to restart flying duties.
He did so and recieved the Airmans Medal, the Distinguished Flying
Cross and the Purple Heart.  It was however not to be Henderson's
career for life.  In February 2042 Henderson joined the special
forces unit of the airforce. 

Henderson showed remarkable abilities with the Special Forces
division and was one of the first people selected to test the new
tactical computer, of which we are only recently hearing about. 
This supplemented the standard cyberware (at that time) of the
special forces, wired (level 2) reflexes, cybereyes, cybereyes,
smartgun link and radio.  Henderson already possessed a datajack.

[ Most of this equipment has been updated now, most notably the
wired reflexes which have been increased to level 3.  According the
file I.B.A. got he has a substantial amount of bioware.  The
majority of it being enhanced muscle augmentation, although there
were a few items simply refered to as a.34563.1 a.6532.1 a.5668.2. 
No further info for these items could be found. ]

The tactical computer was a great success as sams on the streets are
now finding out.  It made Henderson, quicker, more aware of the
combat situation, but more importantly it gave him the ability to
place troops under his command at strategic positions very
quickly.  However the tac comp was not quite ready as the UCAS
special forces found out to their dismay.

On 22nd November 2047 unit 3B of the amalgamated Airforce and Army
special operation units undertook a mission in northern part of
Athabascan, what used to be Alaska, to place in operation a signal
outpost that had previously been shutdown on the handover of those
lands.  Henderson was in charge of the mission, his tactical
computer and experience making him the obvious choice.  I too was
on that mission. 

The mission had been going well, we had avoided the Athabascan
patrols and only had to worry about frostbite for most of the
time.  Then the weather began to turn really bad.  A storm was on
it's way and there was no way our stealth helicoptor could reach us
in those conditions.  As we were all quite capable of taking care
of ourselves in the cold northen wastes we set about constructing a
crude shelter.  It was about this time that Kentucky slipped and
took a bad knock to his head.  Assuming he was no more than
slightly concussed we gave him the neccessary medication and kept
him warm, while the rest of us continued with our preparations. 

Watches were assigned for the night my watch being first.  I was
first alterted by a strange cry coming from within the shelter we
had constructed, thinking nothing of it I continued with my watch,
then there was another cry, louder and a higher pitch than the
first.  Then Henderson came out from the shelter blood dripping
from his mouth and hands.  I went for my gun, quickly guessing what
he had done, he however was quicker, leaping on me he fought like a
wild animal, biting and clawing all the time.  I was not gonna die
without a fight though, eventually I forced him off me and shifted
into a fighting stance.   Something in Henderson must have clicked
then because he turned tail and ran into the woods.  I followed him
for a while using thermographic and managed to get a few shots
off.  He was running fast and wild like with a speed that no man
should have been able to manage, especially in those conditions. 
Realising that pursuit was futile I returned to the camp.  Four
bodies lay inside the shelter, thorats ripped out where they lay. 

I had to return with the news to my superiors.  To say that the news
was badly recieved would be the understatement of the decade.  I was
held and questioned over the events for 2 months solid, subjected to
mind probes by some of the army's top mages.  Eventually my version
of events was accepted, and a verdict reached.  To quote the panel at
the time "Major Henderson of the UCAS airforce went missing in action
on 11:22:54.  As yet no body has been found."  That was the official
statement, what they couldn't say was that Henderson had been killed
by a madness brought on by experimental cyberware and a blow to the
head, although the fact that his body was never found was true.

Disturbing ? Yes. Interesting ? Definately. If my hunch is right
that Kentucky and Henderson are the same man we have a very strange
set of affairs.

Kentucky it seems has been operating out of the east coast, mainly
NY for the past 6 years.  That would tie in to the time of his
disappearance.  My contacts say that he often works with a small
shadow team called The Indigo Nights, but has been known to work
for just about anybody.  Everyone who knew him commented on the
large piece of cyberware filling the right side of his head.  This
alone makes me think that Kentucky is Henderson, for when Henderson
had the tac comp installed, he had the skull platelets on the right
side of his head replaced by titanium plates. 

If Henderson and Kentucky are indeed the same person I know one
thing for certain, that the airforce would be most eager to have a

C.I.A. plant was linked to Trevor and it is possible that a similar

Doctor Doom: Be careful about what you say on my beloved England.  A
true Englishman does not sit down to insinuations of deceit and
allegations or fabricating evidence.  While I cannot comment
further on this particular incident as my historical knowledge does
not cover it, I do know that the British goverment would not
authorise the killing of inoccent civilians. Unless the need was so
very, very great.  But from what I remeber that need was not that
great.  It is true that the assistance of the Americans helped our
country to victory but Hitler had missed his chance to vanquish
Britain. 

By delaying a sea invasion he gave us the chance to regroup and
reform whilst we sent our bombers and fighters into the sky, to
take the war to the very heartland of Germnay itself.  Without our
supieror airforce we would indeed have lost the war, but we came
out victorious over the mighty Luftwaffer destroying many of their
fighters.  With the German air threat greatly reduced we were able
to launch a mass bombing campaign of German supply lines, depots
and their cities. 

Indeed many have said that the bombing of the cities was unessecary
and that the British should use the same technique of precision
bombing as was being employed by the Americans, rather than the mass
bombing being ordered by bomber command.  But bombing of the cities
reduced the morale of the Germans and further destroyed communication
links, supply routes and stores.  This is how the war was truly won.
By the time troops were landed on the coast of Normandy, Germany
found it could no longer supply it's armies with oil, ammunition and
food, as can be seen from the quick advance of the allies into
France.  Eventually with the bombing of the cities, all Germany
wanted was peace which we gladly gave.

leaders of the People's Liberation Army in the Omega Island
Republic.  We have Rob live via satellite for an exclusive
interview with the two minds behind the rebel uprising.

ROB:  My apologies Rush, the PLA has asked us to conduct this
        interview by audio only, with annotations only for security
        reasons. 

RUSH:  Very well Rob, I understand that you've managed to get a hold
        of the two leaders of the PLA.

ROB:  Not exactly Rush, we had attempted several times to get an
        interview with representatives of the PLA, but were at a
        loss to find any after the lightning raid on the capital
        three days ago. Apparently, they found us just under an hour
        ago and asked if we would interview them on public nets.
        They have also requested that we use their pirate satellite
        feed, also for security reasons.  All that aside, I am now
        speaking with Jacob Marcus and Tommy "the dragon" Harada. 
        Gentlemen, on behalf of the entire free world I'd like to

MARCUS:  Thank you Rob, It's a pleasure to finally be able to speak
        openly, without relying on deckers to ensure that my words
        reach the public. 

ROB:  What are your reactions to the recent press release by Roger
        Quention, which claims that you are receiving support from
        so-called "terrorists and shadowrunners," with Mr. Harada
        numbered among the terrorists? 

MARCUS:  He is attempting to discredit our cause by calling our
        methods into question.  I find this funny, the proverbial
        pot is calling the kettle black! While some of the freedom
        fighteres may have questionable backgrounds, none compare
        with the evidence we have amassed against Quention and his
        cohorts. He also accuses Mr. Harada of masterminding the
        rebellion.  To this I Respond with the FACT, yes the FACT,
        not the speculation that Quention uses, that there was
        resistance from the beginning.  When the old goverment was
        in a state of economic collapse due to pressure exerted by
        DDI and certain divisions of MagnaTech and these people
        began to make their intentions known there were those of us
        ready to fight and die for our freedom.  Mr. Harada Came to
        Omega on the trail of criminals who had manipulated him in
        the past, and we came to him to help us with his expertise.
        I say again, he did not enlist us, we enlisted him.  Since
        then his sharp mind and frighteneing skills have been
        indispensible!  As far as I am concerned, he will have full
        citizenship if we succeed, and if he so desires. 

ROB:  I notice you've been strangely silent Mr. Harada, you seemed
        unsettled at the mention of the name Roger Quention.

HARADA:  I have my reasons, leave it at that.

ROB: Very well then, could you elaborate on how you came to be a
        part of the PLA?

HARADA:  Please understand that this is a little uncomfortable for
        me, that was part of a trying time for me.  Before I begin,
        I must say that I am not the same man I was several months
        ago. I first came to Omega on the trail Of a far reaching
        criminal conspiracy, masterminded by the corporate giants
        who now pretend to be a valid government.  These people have
        caused a great deal of misery, suffering and death in their
        exploits, I could not allow them to prey on the unsuspecting
        people of this island.  I had to make sure that someone
        would know the evil that these monsters represent. Mr.
        Marcus found me gathering information and asked me to teach
        his group of rebels to fight. I did so, and there were those
        who doubted that a small group could have an effect on
        corporate giants.  That is when I showed them just how much
        one man can do by sucessfully attacking several
        installations alone. Soon the others began to follow me, and
        in a matter of days, the People's Liberation Army was forged
        from a ragtag group of activists who wanted to make a
        difference but didn't know how. I taught them how, and you
        now see a force to be reckoned with. Our support has grown,
        both in and out of Omega, there was even a benefit concert
        to raise support for us.  We have gained the attention of
        the world, the recognition of nations, and now the support
        of an empire! Not bad for a small group of people who
        thought they would never make a difference! 

ROB:  Those are strong words, and strong accusations.  What kind of
        evidence do you have?

HARADA:  As we speak, a team of specialists is collating an enormous
        amount of data collected by associates of mine since
        MagnaTech came into the corp Limelight with the destruction
        of their main office. This data is too long  and involved to
        go into now, but we promise that highlights will be made
        public as soon as possible.     

ROB:  Mr. Marcus, you have heard Quention's accusation that the PLA
        planted a bomb in the Roger Quention Learning Facility
        during the raid three days ago.  Do you have any comments on
        that. 

MARCUS:  No bombing raid was ordered.  The so-called "Janitor" that
        pulled the fire alarm was one of our operatives.  He
        followed a group of our soldiers after discovering that
        their families were being held by the Omega Army, under
        Tirandor's tender care.  He found that they were given
        instructions from Quention (a veritable architect of deceit)
        to plant the bomb in the hopes that the sensless slaughter
        of innocents would make us appear to be mindless butchers
        unworthy of International action. His plot failed as our
        operative was able to evacuate the building.  We will
        release his direct testimony along with the rest of the
        evidence we have. 

ROB:  What about the allegations that you are employing a band of
        shadowrunners led primarily by the mysterious decker known
        only as "Dark Elf"?

HARADA:  The Dark Elf and I have been associates in the past.  While
        most brand him as a criminal, we recognize that the source
        of these accusations to be the very same people we are
        trying to overthrow. As far as I'm concerned, if the Dark
        Elf wants to help us, I won't get in his way. 

MARCUS:  As far as the People's Liberation Army is concerned, there
        are a handful of concerned people from various nations who
        have dedicated Themselves to our cause, and we are grateful
        to those who have joined the  fight both here and those who
        support us overseas by staging benefits, speaking with
        government representatives, and those who have begun to
        protest in those countries that have not yet realized the
        nature of the criminals who claim to rule this country. 

HARADA:  Excuse me, there has been an attack, we must go.  They've
        found <whispered too low to pick up>.  I apologize for our
        early departure, I know you'd like to ask us more about
        Germany's role in this, and I assure you that you'll get a

        Network. Well, today has seen Germany try to legitimize it's
        aggression towards the tiny nation of Omega Island.  Before
        the German mobilization, most of the powers were content to

        questions of the conquest of Omega and possibly other
        Caribbean islands made several member-nations to re-think
        their earlier position. 

        The Security Council, which is made up of the permanent

        Australia, Brazil, Burma, CAS, Egypt, Germany, Greece,
        India, Japan, Madagascar, Morocco, Norway, Spain, Sri Lanka,

        their policy for about a decade, continued their boycott of
        the Council, and weren't present for the discussion, which
        was conduced behind closed doors today to discuss the issue
        of Germany's intentions of military action against Omega.

        that the UCAS  would stand for no naked aggression in the

        and China not voting, of course.

KIRSTIN:  What was it that convinced the council so well?

ROBERT HAYES:  Due to the nature of the material presented, and for
        reasons of security, it would be unwise to discuss said
        information in a public forum.

        meeting today?

MEGALOPOLIS, AMBASSADOR TO GREECE:  I think it went well, we
        demanded an explanation from Germany, and got it.  They
        agreed to certain terms, and certain restrictions regarding
        their operations.

        that we are well satisfied with the situation.  The
        perceived threat of German conquest of the Caribbean has
        been removed. 

KIRSTIN:  Then it was decided there was no need for sanctions?

SIR EDGAR:  Certainly, were Germany bent on conquest, sanctions
        would be necessary, possibly even military action.  The
        German ambassador has made it clear;  however, they do not
        intend any conquest of Omega.

KIRSTIN:  How can you be so sure?

SIR EDGAR:  Because, my dear Miss McClellan, we shall have our
        observers there.

KIRSTIN:  Ambassador von Halde, your nation has come from teetering
        on the brink of disaster to once again being in good
        standing. What is your response?

KURT VON HALDE, GERMAN AMBASSADOR:  In retrospect, we misjudged
        international reaction.  We thought, perhaps idealistically,
        this was a simple dispute between nations.  Thinking on it
        now, we do not blame the other powers for the actions or
        threats of sanctions.  We did not make our intentions
        adequately clear.  We have consented to permit U.N.
        observers during the operation, and have pledged to have all
        military units removed from Omega Island within a specific
        time period following successful prosecution of battle. 

KIRSTIN:  Will this mean a delay in your operations?

VON HALDE:  Absolutely not.  Our warships presently in the Atlantic
        never stood down, even under the possibility of
        international repercussions.  We are as prepared as ever to
        strike. 

KIRSTIN:  What about General Trevor's speech yesterday?

VON HALDE:  We understand his position of concern regarding our
        intentions, as we did not make our goals abundantly clear. 
        I only question his terming of the sinking of the _Hamburg_
        an "unfortunate" accident. 

        "Unfortunate" implies there is no blame to be placed here. 
        Whereas the truth of the matter is that they acted in wanton
        disregard for human life.  It was an act of war.  We intend
        to reciprocate in kind. 

KIRSTIN:  And the proposal by Trevor for Omega Island to pay
        reparations for the lost ship and crew?

VON HALDE:  The suggestion of reparations is laughable.  We are not
        interested in reparations.  The only object lost with a
        measurable value was the _Hamburg_.  How does one place a
        Reichsthaler value upon human life?

Last but not least, I questioned the Ambassador of Omega Island
himself: 

KIRSTIN:  Ambassador Hastings, what is your impression of the
        Security Council's ruling.

HASTINGS:  I think it's absolutely deplorable.  They are opening the
        door to German aggression all over again!  I cannot think
        but that they are somehow affected by these outrageous
        claims of the criminal insurgents in my nation.  If that is
        true, then they are getting Germany to do their dirty work
        for them.

Well, there you have it, Germany has successfully avoided what might
have been diplomatic disaster when other member nations threatened
possible measures against them.

The Security Council voted that the United Nations shall take no
actions against Germany, essentially giving them a de facto license
to act.  Even in the wake of the criticism of what has been termed
"gunboat diplomacy" by Germany, the representatives of that nation
have expressed their resolve to carry through with their threats
against Omega Island, but with certain limits as dictated by the
Security Council. 

They must consent to U.N. observers and have agreed to withdraw
within a specified time following resolution of hostilities.  By
our calculations, the fleet should be in position towards the
latter part of this week, but regardless of events, we shall keep
you posted.

Thanks to that squad of choppers, we had to relocate Delta Epsilon
ops HQ. They've been learning, they managed to pin us down by
flanking the 'track at high altitude before dropping down into the
range of OddBall's assault cannons. When they started firing thier
miniguns they were outside the 'track's firing arcs.  All we could
do was fire back with personal weapons and hope we could get away. 
I managed to get them to keep their distance with a few near hits
from the grenade launcher.  As they tried to manuver for a better
position, we dropped the smoke grenades and eluded them by dropping
some halogen lamps behind us, messing up their therm imaging.  By
the time they got around the smo ke screen, we were out of there. 
I think we just met a few members of Tirandor's elite enforcer
squadron, these guys were a lot better than the chumps they usually

        especially for the concert.  We also have the first video
        interview with Jacob Marcus, leader of the PLA at an
        undisclosed location.

MARCUS:  Hello again to the people of the world.  I am here to bring
        you my response to Roger Quentions continual accusations and
        outright lies.  My reaction is simply this...

        ...this is my response, a public outcry of support within
        our own borders. Until now, the rebellion has been the
        handful of people willing to lay their lives on the line for
        the thousands that were too afraid to speak up before. You
        see before you an outcry by the native citizens of Omega. 
        Citizens who until recently feared to show their support for
        the PLA. Citizens who have seen us call the world's
        attention to us! The broadcast of the concert has shown them
        that the opressors are not all powerful, we can strike near
        their home without firing a shot. It also represents the
        support of freedom loving people everywhere. While this blow
        may do little to weaken the Omega Army's military hold on
        the island, but it is perhaps the strongest blow they have
        yet received. Quention accuses us of being self-serving,
        people who are pursuing personal vendettas against the
        government. If he is true, then what you see now in Tirandor
        Square are three thousand personal vendettas, plus millions
        more overseas.  Do several million personal opinions mean
        that change is in order, I say YES. Yes Roger Quention, each
        and every person in the PLA, and each and every person who
        supports our cause has a personal vendetta against the
        government in power. In the annals of history, when a
        majority of people have similar problems with the same
        person or persons, who has the problem? The many who have
        been wronged, or the few who claim that it is not they at
        fault but everyone else. Mr. Quention has deluded himself,
        and will also try to delude you... 

ROB:  It would appear that there is some kind of disturbance in
        Tirandor Square get a close up please.

<A black helicopter with the greek letter Omega printed on it
descends on the crowd, as it gets closer it's weapons come into
focus, it has trained it's minigun on the heart of the crowd. 
Troops can be seen advancing  towards the square armed with riot
shields and assault rifles.  A voice booms from the speakers of the
helicopter, bareley heard over the music and the crowd> 

VOICE:  This is an unlawful assembly, disperse now or you will be in
        violation of national laws.

MARCUS:  My god!  They can't hear them!!! GET OUT OF THERE!!!!

..can't take the chopper out without injuring the crowd... ...not
much we can do, nobody knows what's going on...  ...crowd shouting at
the chopper...  ...riot troops using teargas...

The bodyguard looks tense, gripping his weapon. >

VOICE:  If you resist we will have to respond with force..

<shots ring out, a protester's shout of "Free Omega" is cut short by
automatic fire, the man drops, more gunshots, protesters are falling
as they charge the troops who block the only way out of the killing
ground.> 

MARCUS(yelling into phone): MY GOD!!!! Clear them a path out of
        there before the chopper starts opening fire, USE WHATEVER
        MEANS, STOP THEM FROM SLAUGHTERIN G OUR PEOPLE!!!!!!

<The minigun roars as lead sprays from the helicopter down into the
crowd, hundreds lie dead as teams of rebels fire from nearby
buildings, the surprised riot troops are pushed back by the sudden
resistance.  The chopper begins firin g on the buildings as well as
the crowd.> 

MARCUS(into phone):  There's nothing more we can do Tommy, take out
        the chopper, and god help those who get caught in the
        blast. (to camera) I'm sorry Rob, I can't watch this
        anymore. 

<Marcus is escorted out by the bodyguard with tears in his eyes. 
The riot troops advance into the crowd, cutting a swath of death. 
The chopper continues to fire into buildings, destroying offices
and apartments along with rebel troops.  From a rooftop, we see a
rebel soldier with a rocket launcher with Tommy Harada, Harada nods
solemnly to the soldier. Wide shot, a burst of flame streaks from a
rooftop and connects with the chopper.  With a huge explosion, the
chopper is destroyed.  Just moments after the confrontation
started, the square is strewn with wreckage and bodies. survivors
run and crawl for safety as a squad of rebels moves to intercept
the riot troops.  It is an uncanny scene as the concert continues
to play despite the carnage below.  A wounded Omega Soldier walks
toward the camera, shouting TURN THAT FRAGGING THING OFF...blank

ROB:  My God, this is one of the most horrible things I have ever
        seen.  The Omega Army has fired on civilians in an attempt
        to break up the demonstration in Tirandor Square.  The
        rebels have stopped the attack, but at such a cost. If I had
        any doubts about the validity of the rebel cause, this has

RUSH:  This is a tragedy as great as the incident in Tianamen Square
        in the previous century.  We can only pray that the struggle

ship.  Ships like that are much to heavily armored for anything
short of a 500kilo armor piercing torpedo.  Very unwieldy,
expensive, and easy to detect at range.  However, by setting off a
somewhat smaller charge under the midline of the keel, her own
weight splits the ship in half as the supporting water is pushed
out of the way. 

I should have known something was going to happen when Shwunsie
gigled and called Sweesa, the pod leader of her magic group. They
told me what they did afterward.  I would have told them to be a
little more subtle if they had asked me ahead of time, but they
didn't.  Once a Dolphin shaman decides something is a fun game
there's no stopping them. 

They (all 12 of them, including 3 initiates) called up a water
elemental and told it to move all of the water out from under
Entrepid and let her fall.  I assume that it was one freaking huge
water elemental, but they said it did the job. 

Sorry if anyone else had plans for the Entrepid.  If you just can't
stand to not kill a ship, I know of a couple in the Aztlan navy I'd
