It would not be stretching the imagination too far to call her an unholy conglomeration of vampire, toxic spirit, and totem. A demon.... an evil goddess. A Dark Lord. Currently, she is 'enchained' -- bottled up, imprisoned. Not destroyed, like she should be. She .can. get out -- there is no prison that is unbreakable. In fact, my brethren had to fashion a method for her to break her imprisonment. For her..... *sigh* 200,000 souls must willingly sacrifice themselves via immolation in a specially-prepared Circle of Power. There must be at least a few second's break in between each immolation, but the gap between each sacrifice must be precise. The last time, the gap between each death was precisely twenty hours -- thus, 200,000 deaths would take just under twenty-three years -- twenty-two years, nine months, three weeks, six days, twenty hours. The (Dead) Wyrm Ouroboros, now truly dead as far as anyone (including myself) knows, participated in the disruption of the last ritual. At that time, two years ago, Nox's ritual was in its twenty-second year, three-some months from completion. If she .does. escape, she will be all but impossible to stop. She is a Dark Lord; Europe, at least, would most likely cease to exist as arable land, and all life between Gibraltar and the Urals would most likely disappear. Down to microbes. Viruses. Everything. The life of the land itself.... ley lines would be drained dry. Spirits would be utterly destroyed as the land is ruined.... This is a scenario based on the concept that a) she escapes and b) I, or one of my brethren, are there to stop her. Otherwise.... well, let's just say that Australia's manastorms wouldn't be a problem any more. She is totally, irredeemably evil. She exists to devour, to destroy, to bring 'Endless Night'. I will do my best, with what help I can get, to make sure she is not trying again to escape -- and to destroy her. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.]<<<<< -- Mario Greymist (The Cat/Who Walks) >>>>>[ Well, I'd dearly like to help, Greymist, but right now I only have enough time to keep up on events. I'm out of it for awhile, you know, family problems? I blink and *POOF* I now have a family. And, trust me, it's a problem *grin* As to Nox or Nox@@, yes I am only a single poor individual. Wait a few years and disrupt it. It will keep the Nox cultist population down. ]<<<<< -- Nightstalker <19:19:49/01-04-54> >>>>>[I'm not so sure, Nightstalker. You see, even when he was killed four years ago, I could still sense his energies -- 'soul', if you will -- abroad in the world. Now..... now, I cannot. As well, I think you should do some quick division. The tightest I'd make a continual ritual like what Nox needs to have done is five minutes. 200,000, five minute gap..... Nox went down two years ago -- if she wanted to do this thing, and could make the circle within a couple of months, she'll be getting out SOON. I .have. waited a few years, Nightstalker, and am growing uneasy. Raven/Mage, she IS some crazy nightmare. She is .more. than a magical being -- she is not far from being a God. She is also most definitely .not. from this world -- not the 6th World, not the 4th World, not any World this planet has had to offer. Her True Form, so to speak, is hideous and beautiful all at the same time, like every other damne'd Dark Lord. Your friend can interview me, Luna, Gemini, or John Doe after I, and whatever people I can persuade and/or pay to assist me, have finished destroying her and her contingent. For now, I must go -- certain of her creatures are pursuing me.]<<<<< -- Mario Greymist (The Cat/Who Walks) >>>>>[ Mario: I've got it from a very reliable source that good old Prince Solarial did not get the Wyrm's head. Nox has to come from some place and time and she can not be a "god". She must merely, well not merely but, be a magical most-likely astral being of incredible power. Her force rating mag be off the scale of anything we are used to dealing with, but so was the Great Ghost Dance. The Wild Hunt also comes to mind. Regardless, my friend would like to talk to you before you try to destroy Nox. He is very much interested in assisting you, but he is not about to go in without knowledge of the foe. If you can convince him of the threat, he can get you a considerable amount of help. ]<<<<< -- Raven the Mage <22:07:46/01-04-54> >>>>>[I have finally returned from my long stay in London. Aaah, how lovely it is to be back in Seattle. But shortly after that, you compare her powers with the Wild Hunt. To inform you about the background of the Wild Hunt: It derives from the Germanic, respectively Teutonic mythology, where Odin respectively Wotan goes out to hunt with his undead huntsmen. And as you ought to know, Odin, respec- tively Wotan is the highest god of the Teutons. I would say that it is senseless, to discuss if Nox is a god or not, because you would first have to define what a god is. And with all her powers, Nox comes pretty close to what the human race has defined as god for centuries. But on the other hand, any highly cybered street samurai would be a god for the humans of the Middle Ages. As I said, a fruitless discussion. But one thing is obvious: She poses a higher threat to our world then any other living creature, we know.]<<<<< -- Armageddon <14:23:13/06-JAN-55> >>>>>[I don't want to mess in matters I don't understand, but fighting a god doesn't sound too fun to me.
