About twenty minutes after his last post hit the board you wouldn't
believe what happened down here.  Give me a sec to send over the
camera feeds from his office.

Allright, here we go.

From a camera high behind Freddy's shoulder, you can see him ranting
at someone on the vidphone.  Through an ingenious subroutine, the
audio on the security camera is shut off while the vidphone is
active, so you can't hear him, but he appears in a usual rage at
someone.

He stops ranting and looks towards the door to the hall.  He types a
quick command into the keyboard in his desk closing the vidphone
connection, and the audio comes up on the recording.

Any other sound is drowned out by the roar of a high powered,
unmuffled engine, seemingly just on the other side of the door.
Freddy stands up and starts for the door, muttering loudly that "If
I've told him once not to work on his damn bike in his office, I've
told him a million fraggin' times...".

Just as he reaches for the knob a fist punches through the center of
the door.  On closer inspection, the fist is not only totally devoid
of flesh, but also burning.  Since the door doesn't seem to catch
fire, it seems as though a magical illusion is afoot.

The hand pulls back through the door, ripping a chunk large enough to
walk through with.  Freddy jumps backing, swearing in Sperethiel and
finishing with "... Jesus Christ, Buddah and Mohammed".

A deep, resounding, chilling voice responds "Almost" and a skeletal
figure steps through the hole in the door.  Clad in biker leathers
with the head and hands uncovered, the figure dimly resembles a
really old comic book character whose name you just can't quite
remember.

Freddy scrambles back behind his desk and starts pulling open
drawers, frantically looking for something.  The figure strides to a
point across from Freddy and reaches out, one-handing the elf by the
neck and pulling him across the desk.  He steps back from the desk
with Freddy hanging a good half meter off of the floor, kicking and
punching.

Freddy manages to grab the skeleton's elbow and a small fireball
blasts through the arm where Freddy's got ahold of it.  Shot tears
into the wall behind the skeleton.

If a skeleton could grin, this one certainly is.  "Not good enough.
You know that, Frederick."  The spirit spins hurling Freddy into the
wall.  He slides down and crumples into a heap, leaving a slick of
blood on the wall.

The spirit fades from the physical plane.

established the fact that the contraband surfaced mainly in Denver, Seattle,

As smuggling shadowtech into Portland undoubtivly proved the hardest
challange for my advesaries, I decided to concetrate my work there. I quickly
unveiled the fact that the shadowtech surfacing in Portland mostly came from
the FRFZ, which seemed IMHO to be the source.

I moved my operation to the FRFZ, and brought with me a team I had aquaited
in Seattle for backup. It took us almost two weeks to come up with a single
lead. However, that lead brought us to >>encrypted<<, a medium-sized corp
based in Denver, with subdevisions in Seattle, Portland, and a few other
places around the world. I hit both facilities, and the one in Denver, but
the runs gave me nothing except for two thing: One, there was datafile they
were after, and that datafile was in the possesion of a young decker in
Seattle. Two, the name Lt. Col. Davis was brought up in several deep-frozen
files.

I quickly set up a meet with the decker, call-sign >>encrypted<< and got him
in on the proceedings. He is currently with me here in TNO, still trying to 
decrypt all his old paydata, looking for the file.

Then, as I was going to follow up on the second lead, two peculiar things
took place: First, Lt. Col. Davis was presumably found dead at >>encrypted<<
the evening AFTER he traveled on a diplomatic assignment to TNO. Doesn't
make much sense, does it? Well, as the establishment where the body of the
first Lt. Col. was found was very reluctant to have its reputation smeered by
such an event, they hired a local runner to cover it up. This was the runner
Darkfire.

I tracked these events closely without revealing my position at first, but
when Lt. Col. Davis vanished (presumed kidnapped by the press. However,
diplomatic relations between TT and TNO have been a bit too warm to add
credebility to such a theory), I contacted Darkfire and hired him to work
for me. I, as I have told you, travelled to the TNO to follow up on the
vanishing, while I sent Darkfire back to Portland to continue local
investigations.

As your current operation might very well reveal more information than we
have so far managed to dig up anywhere else, I am leaving you in charge of
proceedings back home (I, understandably, will have a tough time communicating
frequently once I arraive in the heartlands). Darkfire and the Concrete Crew
will channel any questions/requests/information to you, and in turn I will
only have to communicate with you.

I am spending my last day here in Scotland, where I have set up passage into
TNO. By this time tomorrow I shall have arrived. However, I am not sure when

Jason DID set up with the Council Island Security forces a pass for a
friend of his who was going to be staying there for a couple of days "to take

places around the world. I hit both facilities, and the one in Denver, but 
the runs gave me nothing except for two thing: One, there was datafile they 
were after, and that datafile was in the possesion of a young decker in 
Seattle. Two, the name Lt. Col. Davis was brought up in several deep-frozen
files.

I quickly set up a meet with the decker, call-sign >>encrypted<< and got him
in on the proceedings. He is currently with me here in TNO, still trying to
decrypt all his old paydata, looking for the file.

Then, as I was going to follow up on the second lead, two peculiar things
took place: First, Lt. Col. Davis was presumably found dead at >>encrypted<<
the evening AFTER he traveled on a diplomatic assignment to TNO. Doesn't
make much sense, does it? Well, as the establishment where the body of the
first Lt. Col. was found was very reluctant to have its reputation smeered by

I tracked these events closely without revealing my position at first, but
when Lt. Col. Davis vanished (presumed kidnapped by the press. However,
diplomatic relations between TT and TNO have been a bit too warm to add
credebility to such a theory), I contacted Darkfire and hired him to work
for me. I, as I have told you, travelled to the TNO to follow up on the
vanishing, while I sent Darkfire back to Portland to continue local

have so far managed to dig up anywhere else, I am leaving you in charge of
