SOUR MILK SUGAR COOKIES

             2 cups sugar                2-½ cups flour
             1 cup butter                1 tsp baking soda
             2 eggs                      ½ tsp salt
             1 cup sour milk             1 tsp nutmeg

Cream together sugar and butter. Beat in eggs, and then milk. Mix flour, soda, salt, and nutmeg, and stir into dough. Drop by large teaspoons onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°.
