From: [t--g] at [netcom.com] (Tom Galloway) Subject: Marvel bondholders win court case Date: 25 Feb 1997 21:04:07 -0700 Newsgroups: rec.arts.comics.info,rec.arts.comics.misc Per a story off the Reuter newswire fished off Yahoo's stock quotes page, the automatic stay which prevented Marvel bondholders (read: Carl Ichan) from attempting to foreclose on the Marvel common stock which was used as collateral for their bonds has been lifted. The bondholders have not yet moved to foreclose, but will consider whether to do so. It's stated that the bondholders plan to try to convince the Marvel board (read: Ron Perelman) not to go through with the plan that would dilute the bondholders collateral stock from 78.8% down to 17.2% of the company. tyg [t--g] at [netcom.com]
