Duh, 'cuz I wrote it. CLIP AND SAVE! -------------------- IMAGE: ====== More Image/Marvel crosses: Youngblood/X-Force (Liefeld/Stephenson & Cruz). So help me, if Shaft tells Cable "you look just like my father," I won't be responsible for my actions... Backlash/Spider-Man #1 of 2(Mariotte & Booth). Note that, unlike the ad for Badrock/Spider-Man, Spidey is wearing the Ben Reilly costume. The Savage Dragon #30 (Larsen) and Spawn #52 (McFarlane/Capullo) cross into each other. The Fiend has sent Dragon to Hell, and Spawn is already there. A Distant Soil #15 (Doran). A jumping on point for new readers, natch. 21 #4 (Wein & ?). Continued from the miniseries (now a TPB in July). 21 will soon be an animated series from Film Roman. Brass #1 (R. Bennett/Wiesenfeld). Former Neal Adams Continuity proteges combine on a new WildStorm project. Because they take after their mentor, this comic was about 3 years in the making... Grifter v2 #1 (S. Grant & Rubi). The comic begins its new, crime-oriented direction. Not part of WildStorm's $1.75 line, as I may have reported... Allegra #1 (Seagle & Clark). Another new WildStorm sf series. Deathblow #0 (Choi & Jim Lee). The story that would have been serialized in Darker Image, if that book had ever come out. I never tire of plugging Big Bang Comics, so here we go: Big Bang Comics #3 (Carlson & various). Ultiman goes bad and only the Knight Watchman can stop him! Plus, Thunder Girl battles Tornado Girl and Dr. Binana, the World's Maddest Monkey(tm)! MALIBU: ======= Exiles #10 (Nocenti & Fang). Ann Nocenti appears to be the new writer. Ultraforce #10. New creative team is Len Wein & Deodato. MARVEL: ======= The Onslaught continues... Thor #502 (Messner-Loebs & Deodato). Iron Man #332 (Kavanagh & Cheung). Hulk #445 (PAD & Medina). Avengers #402 (Waid & Deodato). Fantastic Four #516 (DeFalco & Pacheco). All of the above say their goodbyes to the Marvel Universe (except for the Hulk, where it's a bit more complicated). Continued in August's issue of Onslaught. Marvel Fanfare #1 (Compos & Brown). A new $0.99 title. Story reunites Captain America and the Falcon. 2099: World of Tomorrow #1 (Raab & Ferry). Bad Things, Man (tm). The polar ice caps have melted, and the world is flooded. Attuma leads the Atlanteans to conquer what's left. Reed Richards and Victor von Doom have their final battle. Ben Grimm, Father Jennifer and the teens from X-Nation struggle to reach an Alchemax outpost on Mars to regroup. And then the Phalanx invade. **Spider-Man** Sensational #8 (DeZago & Wieringo). The new and deadly Looter, whose gimmick is using weapons stolen from other supervillains. Onslaught has SENTINELS (clue!) attack New York in the other spider- books. Spider-Man Team-Up #4 (Perez & D. Robertson). Spider-Man and The Mighty Avengers...together(tm)! Untold Tales #13 (Busiek & Vey). Somebody dies. Spider-Man: Redemption #1 of 4 (DeMatteis & Zeck). The beginning of the end of the Peter Parker/Ben Reilly/Kaine plotline. New Warriors #75 (Skolnick & Zircher). The entire team is reunited to battle the Queen of the Dire Wraiths in this final issue. Iron Fist #1 of 2 (Felder & Brown). Boy, does this ever look bad. **X-Men** Sega is developing the videogame X-Women, starring Storm, Jean Grey, and Rogue. Like Elvis, Onslaught is everywhere. Well, actually he's not mentioned in the blurb for Excalibur #101 (Ellis & Pacheco), but everywhere else... Chris Bachalo returns as regular artist on Generation X #19. X-Men vs Brood: Day of Wrath #1 of 2 (Ostrander & Hitch). Pryde and Wisdom #1 of 3 (Ellis & Dodson). The last time Kitty Pryde had a miniseries she learned to be a ninja and was drawn by Al Milgrom. This one will obviously be several orders of magnitude better. How could it not? X-Men Unlimited #12 (J. F. Moore & Olivetti). Juggernaut faces his origins in the realm of Cytorrak. TPBs: Captain America: Operation Rebirth (Waid's first 5), X-Men: Earthfall (Brood story from UXM #232-234) to be continued... -- -Thad Doria ******************remember the name******************* ****WWF IC CHAMP*****GOLDUST*****WWF IC CHAMP********* ***************so nice, he won it twice!**************
