Followup: KING-5 TV's Top Story at 11:00 PM 5-24-95 report as follows: A Granite Falls, Wa woman, Jackie Boston was beaten, shot, and stabbed by her ex-boy friend, Don Bennet on Monday, 5-22-95. Her neighbor, Darwin Mitchell, upon hearing the gun shots, got his hunting rifle from his home and went to her rescue. He held her attacker at (empty) gun piont until police arrived. Jackie Boston was released from the hospital today, 5-24-95. A single bullet had pierced her breast and side.
