Shall we begin with the BATF's application to exempt their internal investigation of the Waco 'raid' from the Freedom of Information Act? Isn't it a bit odd that the ATF doesn't want you to know what their own investigation turns up? The pathetic affadavit that ATF used to justify their search warrant has been posted multiple times; did Blask miss reading it every single time? The fact that the ATF had been planning this raid for months and just happened to time it as the bureaus budget came up for hearing...did Blask miss that as well? The fact that ATF had been hit with allegations of sexual harassment and certainly would want to change the subject; did Blask miss that as well? Turning to the FBI, I repost this information: "In situations where it is desired to drive a mob from an area, the use of CS may hamper the movements of the rioters because of the rapid and severe onslaught of symptoms". Source: Thomas Swearengen, "Tear Gas Munitions", Library of Congress 64-25749 Please note that Swearengen, a standard reference on this subject, is writing about people *outside*. He notes that a gas-immobilized person could receive a lethal dose "through his own helplessness"; it is obvious that the concentration of CS was much higher inside the building. The previously quoted source on tear gas is readily available. The above source on industrial materials is readily available. So FBI introduced into a building a gas that can immobilize and even kill adults *in the open*; does this sound like a compound that might well immobilize and kill children *inside a building*? Now, the question is asked, "what about the gas masks". FBI admitted in the first day after the massacre that they mixed acetone with the CS in order to defeat the gas masks known to be worn by some adults in the compound. Notice that no mention is made of the children, who had no gas masks. But wait, there's more; it is no secret that when nitriles such as CS decompose due to combustion they produce CYANIDE gas. Source: "Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials", N. Irving Sax, ISBN 0-442-27373-8 It was known that there were open flames in the building in the form of lanterns and cooking stoves. *CS mixed with acetone is introduced into the building in very high concentrations. *CS can immobilize or even kill adults in the open, let alone children in a building. *CS produces cyanide gas as a byproduct of combustion. *Acetone is a flammable compound. *There were known to be open flames in the building. No doubt Blask "missed" this information as well. Now, here's a challenge for Blask: the ATF claimed that the BD's were converting inert grenades to live explosives. Where are these converted grenades, why hasn't ATF been able to find them? ATF claimed that the BD's were converting semi-auto firearms to full auto. Where are these converted firearms and why hasn't ATF been able to find them? Can Blask answer these questions, or is he just blowing the government's smoke for them?
