From: [b--c--r] at [redwood.csl.sri.com] Newsgroups: alt.news-media,alt.society.civil-liberty,misc.legal,talk.politics.guns,talk.politics.misc Subject: Waco Coverup Evidence (videotape) Date: 2 Aug 1993 13:42:45 -0500 I recently recieved a videotape from the American Justice Federation entitled "Waco, the big lie." It shows (among many other things): 1) An agent shooting himself in the leg during the first seconds of the raid. This shot may have been the first shot fired, and the other agents may have commenced firing as a result of hearing this shot. 2) a) Four agents on roof. b) Three toss grenades in, then climb in window. c) d) Fourth agent tosses another grenade in same window where first three had entered. e) Fourth agent pokes MP5 in window and "sprays" the room with bullets without looking in (blindly). f) Holes appear in the wall (look like shotgun blasts). g) Fourth agent hit. The networks broadcast this scene, but they edited out c) through e). The fact that e) happened before f) seems crucial to me, and I can think of no legitimate reason for c), d), and e) to have been edited out of the version that was broadcast nationwide. Since e) is a felony (blindly spraying a machine gun into a house full of women and children), the networks should be held accountable for obstruction of justice (hiding this evidence). 3) The underground bunker is under the lawn, not under the house -- that is to say, occupants of the underground bunker should have been perfectly safe if the house burned down. This bunker was burning several minutes before the "official story" says the house caught fire. As the bunker is burning, the tanks are shown destroying the only exit from the bunker. 4) Tanks supposedly inserting gas are shown spraying gouts of flame into the building. 5) Just at the time the "official story" says the house caught fire simultaneously in two different upstairs locations, a man is shown riding away from the house on top of a tank (as if he had just jumped down from the roof). The man removes a fire-protection hood as he rides away. A second man jumps down from another section of the roof, lands on his feet, removes a fire-protection hood, and walks calmly to the police line. This second man is carrying a rifle. 6) Instead of trying to preserve the crime scene, tanks are shown pushing the unburnt sections of the building into the fire. 7) Numerous scenes of unprotected agents walking around (right next to) the burning building and smoldering piles of rubble. So much for their concerns about explosives and "millions of rounds of ammunition" that might cook off. Numbers 2), 3) and 4) seem the most damning to me. I called both senators and my congresscritter, none of whom was interested. I called the San Jose Mercury News and the KICU TV newsroom, both of which said a reporter would get back to me (neither did). I called the Attorney General's office, and spoke with Rod Rosenstein, on 7-13-93. Rosenstein is "handling the Waco situation." He seemed to be genuinely interested, and asked for a copy of the tape. I had one sent the same day, and since then Rosenstein hasn't been available when I've called, and hasn't returned my calls. His phone number is (202) 514-3008. The American Justice Federation will send you a copy of the tape as a premium for making a $20.00 donation. I am not associated nor affiliated with them in any way.
