Hemp Initiative Project - May 25, 1993 Date: Thu, 27 May 1993 15:31:35 GMT Colorado Hemp Initiative Project Update May 25, 1993 Hemp Initiative Petition Update - we have encountered some obstacles in our petitioning process - therefore, our petitions will not be out until the Spring of 1994 - we will continue to have educational presentations and discussions at our regular meetings - we will focus this summer instead on increasing hemp education and awareness throughout the state Catch Hemp Information Booths at these upcoming events: Sat & Sun May 29th & 30th Boulder Creek Festival - on the Public Library Lawn in downtown Boulder Sat & Sun June 5th & 6th People's Fair - in the Capitol Hill area of Denver The Boulder Hemp Initiative Project meets every Tuesday at 6:30pm in Economics Room 13 CU Campus, Boulder Note the new meeting place. The Boulder Hemp Initiative Project is an environmental and political action group promoting the re-legalization of the hemp plant as an alternative, natural, renewable resource.
