It's true folks, just clipped another news article for my growing 
collection of articles relating to this insane War on Drugs. Here
it is, as printed in our local paper:

Surgeon general's son wanted on drug warrant
        Little Rock, Ark. - The son of U.S. Surgeon General Joycelyn 
Elders remained free Saturday, four days after a warrant was issued for 
his arrest on a felony charge of drug possession.
        Police issued a warrant Wednesday for Kevin M. Elders, 28. Police 
Lt. Charles Holladay said Saturday he didn't know why Elders hadn't been 
arrested.
        He said no search was under way. The warrant came a week after 
Elders' mother said legalizing drugs could reduce the country's crime 
rate and suggested the government study the idea. Police gave two 
addresses for Elders; there was no telephone listing for one and a person 
who answered the phone at the second address said he didn't live there. 
Relatives in central Arkansas said they didn't know where he was.

That's it. I wonder how people are going to take this and twist it 
around. I just recently sent my letter to the editor in support of 
Elder's statement. They didn't publish it, but guess what, they published 
one against her statement saying that she is 'a disgrace to the nation.' 
Media sensationalism. Doesn't it suck?
