I posted these results several weeks ago. But here you go. The results are in. Parade Magazine ran a 1/2 page article on the results of the "Should Marijuana be legal" poll. More than 75% of the respondants say pot should be as legal as alchoholic beverages. 89% say pot should be legal for medicinal purposes. 51,797 people responded. 19.92% of respondants never tried pot. 7.99% of respondants tried it once. 31.67% of respondants smoke pot occasionally. 35.40% of respondants smoke pot frequently. 0.82% of respondants were 75 years or older. 17.22% of respondants were 51-74 years old. 40.99% of respondants were 36-50 years old. 21.26% of respondants were 26-35 years old. 9.00% of respondants were 18-25 years old. 4.38% of respondants were under 18 years old. My own keen observations : -`) ? First of all a lot of old farts responded. No offense folks as I almost fall into this category myself. Over 57% of the people that responded were 36 years old or older. A total of 67.07% of respondants used pot either occasionally or frequently. If we assume that all of these people said that pot should be legal for all reasons, then the statistics look something like this. Of the people who never smoked pot, or smoked pot only once, 17057, 4107 of these people, 24%, feel that pot should be legal like alchohol. 11,359 of these, 67% feel that pot should be legal for medicinal use. Does any of this mean anything? I'll let you decide. Greg ********** The Turboclipper tm........would you buy an electric nosehair clipper with a name like this? **********
