From: [ma 3076] at [bris.ac.uk] (SA. Swain) Newsgroups: rec.games.frp.announce Subject: [Zine] Carnel6 Date: 19 Sep 1995 02:50:41 GMT The 6th issue of my roleplaying cum life zine contains a write up on Gencon which includes a brief description of virtually every new CCG game under the sun, also reviews of On the Edge and Phase World. There's also the first installment of Dave Morris's excellent book about roleplaying in Japan, TETSUBO. This bit tells you how to create Japanese/Yamamoto characters for WFRP and also gives some interesting information about the mythological races of Japan. Finally there's a musing editorial by me complaining about the fact that I got to write nothing for this issue; except the latest part of the Lovecraftian serial...which I'm planning to drop soon anyway. This zine is sure to annoy anyone American and influenced by punk as it takes a sedate quintessentially British journey through whimsy to a quaint cottage in Devon. If you'd actually like to buy it then if you are from the UK it costs 50p plus an A4 ssae (19p stamp), Europe some paper money and the same ssae. Send the whole thing off to: Robert Rees Copley The Close Spittal Nr. Haverfordwest Dyfed SA62 5QH If you are from America then you will still need an A4 ssae but there's no need for it to be stamped. However it will cost you one of the following: a)$2 b)a booster pack of Rage, Vampire or Magic cards c) a zine of similar quality (ie. not a Christmas card that's been tarted up) The address will be the same. If you are from Japan; hi Paul! If you are from Canada or Australia then a letter with some way of sending the thing to you will suffice. If however you are from the future then I will swap you a copy for anything from the future because I'm a slut. Please read my zine, it has a picture of Sean Connery in his younger days on it.
