Personal Security Corporation by Gurth This corporation provides protection to its cardholders in the same way DocWagon provides medical assistance. Each cardholder is issued with small plastic card containing a chip and a transmitter. If the card is broken in two, it sends out a signal that alerts the nearest PSC office. PSC has offices locates throughtout Seattle, and guarantees that help will arive within 10 minutes. PSC has personnel equipped with the latest weaponry, vehicles, and cyberware, and also gives magical protection on application. Prices PSC provides different levels of protection. All levels have the same basic membership price (a 4000รน once-only charge), but the monthly fee differs for each level of protec tion. See the table below. Extended Protection consists of one van and one fast car of high-threat personnel per person who has activated the Personal Body Alarm card. Basic magical protection consists of two standard mages, who arrive together with the other personnel dispatched to a location. It is possible to have a combination standard mages with high-threat personnel. Extended magical protection consists of two high-threat mages, who arrive together with the other personnel dispatched to a location. It is possible to have a combination of high- threat mages with standard personnel. Fast response means that the team dispatched does not use the standard van and fast car, but instead uses one armed helicopter and one transport helicopter. Each vehicle is piloted by a rigger.
