Every government has the right to protect itself from its enemies, and Hitler rightly identified the jews as enemies of his government. Also, you might want to remember that Hitler did not come to power in a bloody coup, or by pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes. In any event, even a jew who could prove a pressing need for a firearm was allowed to own one in Germany after Hitler’s acension to power.
