Jerry’s Diner has pretty much all been repositioned. There are still a few book reviews that haven’t been moved over to Mimsy Were the Borogoves, so this site will remain for a while until those reviews are moved. But pretty much everything else—the recipes and the late-night dining pages—have moved to the new site.

- These folks sell Thai ingredients and cooking utensils. I have not yet ordered from them, but they look like they have good prices. Each item lists wonderful Thai recipes enticing you to use that item. This is a very intelligently designed site, providing useful information for us readers while it pushes its products. If you don’t have a Thai grocer in your area, I recommend checking this out. I’m a big fan of Thai Iced Tea. That and a good Thai chili paste would be a great way to test these folks out.

- Includes an archive for red.food.cuisine.jewish, as well as lots of other recipes and reviews. Click on a questionable place to enter the site.

Featuring top cartoonists of the Pacific Northwest. Cooking with comic books, it’s the new in-thing of the twenty-first century. From J.R. Williams’ Black Been Quesadillas (Secrets of Life, Death, & Salsa) to Mark Zingarelli’s Holiday Hot-Pants Chili (Eatin’ In with Eddie, easily the best strip in the book), this is a great read that also has great recipes.
The great part is that these recipes are designed to be easy enough to make on a cartoonist’s schedule, and cheap enough for a cartoonist’s income, or lack thereof.
