The Comics Link Morgue

Whatever happened to that great annotation, or that amazing list? A discussion over on the comics scholars list reminded me that even my dead links might be useful. These are all links that have been attached to a page on this site at some time in the past. Being a data pack rat, I never throw them out, I just mark them as “gone” so that they no longer show up.

Here, I’ve linked them directly to the Internet Archive; that doesn’t mean the archive has anything about them, but it’s a starting place if you need to find what used to be on that page. Pay attention to the response you get; often, the page itself isn’t available but parent pages will be. And the response you get when the only thing archived is the outer frame can be particularly confusing: multi-columned error messages. Finally, links on the page go off to that site, but we already know that site is dead. So if you want to follow a link you’ll need to copy the URL and do an Internet Archive search on it.

I’ve also provided the URL for reference purposes, but I haven’t linked it; quite a few of these go off to spam pages now.
