Trouble with a capital T and that rhymes with P and that stands for Pool.

One of the most well-known of American musicals, I recommend seeing it sometime just because of that. Also, if you were ever a fan of “Happy Days”, you’ll see Ron Howard in a much earlier role.

he song that everyone has heard is the Pool Hall song, where “Professor Harold Hill” (who sounds a lot like Gandalf in the Hobbit) tries to convince the town that pool stands for evil influences. That song is also the high point of the film. There are also some interesting scenes involving traveling salesmen, but, for the most part, this is a predictable movie with little to make it stand out.
